Freya stops beside me on the edge of the curb and cocks her head to the side. "Why is your face doing that?" He blinked, "Doing what?" Her finger did a circular motion towards his face. "That creepy thing with your mouth. It's freaking me out. You look like you came here to touch kids."

Her hatred seethed as she accused Hazel of ruining her plan to capture a virgin girl. "But don't worry," Sybil sneered with malicious satisfaction. "I have another one ready for sacrifice, and no one can stop me now." She laughed, reveling in her twisted intentions. Meanwhile, Ruben, despite his injured leg, stepped forward bravely, ready to support Hazel. Wyatt, snarling with rage, prepared to deliver a final, lethal blow to Hazel, his mind fixated on sinking his teeth into her neck.

"So, Alpha, how does it feel to meet your demise? Your reign ends here." Rowland, though weakened and bloodied, met his gaze with unwavering resolve. "You underestimate the strength of unity and loyalty. Our pack will prevail, even in the face of darkness." The second villain, a cunning wolf with piercing yellow eyes, cackled menacingly. "Unity? Loyalty? Such feeble ideals. We will crush your pack and make you witness its downfall." As they closed in for the final assault, a surge of power surged through me, transforming my stance. My eyes glowed with an otherworldly intensity, and my voice dripped with an eerie calmness. "You will not lay a paw on him. Not while I draw breath."

The Wraith called, his voice carrying across the cold air, smooth and poisonous, too calm. Raven stepped forward, her shadow wrapping around her shoulders like a cloak, her eyes burning gold. “This is our home,” she called back. The Wraith tilted his head, amusement flickering across his face. “Not for long.” Lightning flickered beside her as Ragnar stepped up, storm steady, his gaze locked on The Wraith. “You’ll have to go through us,” Ragnar said. The Wraith’s smile widened, slow and cruel. “That was the plan.” He lifted his hand, and a witch stepped forward, her eyes black as pitch, power curling around her fingers like smoke.

"Damn, it seems like it's the Reaper's Breath from Poisonwielder!" Pierre and the other three's faces turned pale. Poisonwielder was one of the eight notorious villains on the Criminal list, and his infamous poison, Reaper's Breath, was extremely potent. Although the four never saw Poisonwielder or Reaper's Breath firsthand, as top members of the Central Region Dragon Corps, they were well-informed about the eight villains and knew some characteristics of the Reaper's Breath. The white mist and powder Wulfric released bore a striking resemblance to the Reaper's Breath. As soon as they inhaled a little, their true energy was immediately weakened and suppressed, and their power levels dropped

I had never imagined Chad would be such a jerk. When Chad and his friend laughed at Annika, I was indignant. I rushed over to cover his mouth, not realizing how pale Annika looked. Nathan saved her, and it became a classic tale of the prince saving the ordinary girl, just like in many romantic stories. People loved to read these kinds of stories. As the couple's story gained popularity on campus, it became evident that it needed a villain, a malicious character who would bully Cinderella and try to steal her prince away. I was perfect for that role.
