The mountain shook as the seal slammed shut—stone folding in on itself, runes carving deeper, magic collapsing inward like a dying star. The Wraith thrashed wildly, shadows tearing free and dissolving into nothing. “No!” it bellowed. “You cannot—!” “I can,” Astra said, voice breaking at last. “And I will.” She stepped forward, pressing her bleeding hand to the Wraith’s chest. Light exploded outward. For one terrible heartbeat, she saw everything. The past. The future. The child she would one day bear—silver-eyed, radiant, hunted. Lyra. Tears burned Astra’s eyes.

“By my side.” My stomach twists. “Never.” He steps closer, the shadows bending around him like they’re drawn to his heat. “You will,” he whispers. “Tomorrow night. Under the full moon. Suddenly, as I shift my eyes back to Raya again, I was surprised as she started to fade away as if she's being dusted, I worriedly asked, "Raya, what's happening? You're disappearing." "I don't have much time." Raya said as she reached out for my hand, she continued, "Do you dare find out the future?" I gulped hard and grabbed onto her hands. Just like that I saw the future. I saw it vividly and clearly. The future... where everyone is dead. I hold my breathe as I saw the horrors of the vision Raya gave me.

Riley's voice rang from the doorway as she stepped into the room, her hands on her waist. “What makes you believe so?” I asked. “Uhhh because I saw her future.” She bragged and I snapped up immediately. “Really?” I asked, holding onto her. “Yep,” She replied. “But there was something I didn't see clearly.” “What’s that?” “In my vision, Ruby did come back, but she didn't come back alone.” She said, her brows furrowed. “She’s going with Jace,” I said, poking her head. “No, not Jace.” She continued. “It was blurry, but I did see a light following her, which was why I couldn't picture who or what it was.”
