Ryan smiled to himself; now he knew what to do with all that anger he has locked away. Ryan strode forward, staring right into her eyes. His eyes brimming with displeasure at her. Evelyn tilted her head, frowning, but started back at him. She had a questioning look in her eyes, making him realize she did not understand the extent of his displeasure with her. She was casually leaning on the pillar, arms crossed, her left leg crossed over to her right side. He stood in front of her glaring down. She glared right back without flinching. Ryan contemplated letting her realize that he knew her little secret.

Ryan slowly pulled back, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and smirking up at her. "Not bad for a workplace quickie," he winked at her.

“Hi.” Ryan exhaled sharply, almost like a laugh, and brushed the hair out of my face. His touch was careful, his fingers barely grazing my skin. And then he did something unexpected, he smiled. A real, genuine smile. He’s been smiling a lot lately. I kind of like it. Maybe dying, well, almost dying was worth it for this rare sight. I wanted to enjoy it, truly, but then my body decided to remind me just how much pain I was in. A fresh wave of agony crashed over me, and I cried out, my fingers clutching weakly at the sheets.

Amar's cellphone rang making him forced to pick it up, apparently a client was waiting for him at the restaurant, Amar almost forgot because of what happened to Alicia, he apologized to the doctor and asked for help to look after Alicia for a while, because he had an important meeting.

A sleek black Lamborghini waited silently in the traffic, inside a dark and handsome figure reclined in the back seat, gazing coldly through the half-opened window at the girls' and boys' lipstick lesbians. After that wild morning by the pool, Ryan had returned to his calm and elegant self, dressed in a fine black Armani suit, a sense of chill hiding in his gray eyes.
