Ryuu pointed at the programmers' desks and winked at me. My lips twitched into a nervous smile, but I nodded and stepped toward the nearest desk. Ryuu moved back and leaned against the wall, but even with my back to him, I knew he was observing me. He watched my every move. I passed a few desks until I noticed that someone was working on a game called Jin Dan. I recognized it right away; this was the game Lu Cheng had created. When I lingered there longer than ten seconds, Ryuu gestured at the programmer to step away from the desk. The man got up at once and gave me a nervous smile.

I feel a powerful surge of energy coursing through me, and I realize that Liam is using his powers again. Yes-yes-yes! The ground beneath our feet begins to tremble, and I see vines and roots start to grow from the earth, wrapping themselves around the zombie dragon’s legs. POV: Ryuu My eyes stayed locked on Beatrice as she moved through the room, her presence commanding attention in a way that felt almost defiant. Ryuu turns his gaze at the boy who has his head bending down rolling the bandage on his wrist. He really can't say or make out what he is really saying as the voice starts to go far and far in the distance.

Logan carefully put me down, then charged at Niles and they started fighting fiercely. My back hurt so much that I gasped for air. But just then, a bold idea flashed through my mind.
