Zachary spat on the floor. “I’m not afraid of you!” He screamed. Clarissa looked around in shock. They were truly attracting so many people, and the security officials were coming right at them. “You should be,” Archer said calmly. “Please do the honors of dragging him out of here,” he said to the security.

Lavina–POV Archer was released from the infirmary after three days; the doctor declared him healthy. I've been staying in the Wolf Realm; fortunately, my grandpa was saved, too. Eden's magic blast destroyed my apartment, but luckily, everyone managed to escape alive. Alice thanked me for the mind link that informed them about it. I typed on my laptop to finish the pending work, and this room resembled a bachelor pad. Archer always wanted me by his side, and genuinely, I wanted to spend time with him as well.

She rushes out and then a beep, she ended the call on me? I pull the device away from my ear and glare down at it before shoving it back into my pocket. I can't believe she just hang up on me like that. I mean, nobody hangs up on me! I turn my head to the side when Archers happy but tired voice brings me out of my thoughts. My eyes scrunch together in confusion at the sight infront of me. Archer is seated on this man's lap! Archer! The same Archer that is terrified of strangers and the same Archer that doesn't like anybody touching him besides his mother and Jasmine. . . sometimes me.

Fear is thick and clouds my ability to figure out the situation. When the tall skinny one stops kicking at Archer and pulls out a gun from his coat pocket, there's no hope at all it's a fake like Huxley used. The metal catches on a piece of morning sunlight that seeps through my living room window and makes a rainbow prism as it hits the ground. Nothing so deadly should make something so beautiful. "Is she alone?" the one by Archer asks. Tough guy shakes me again. "Yes," I spit out trying one last time to tug myself away, but it's no use.

She had to trust in their strength and focus on preserving her own self-control. With a surge of adrenaline, Archer leaped forward, fending off the raiders with swift, calculated strikes. His eyes met Violet's for a fleeting moment, a mixture of worry and desire shining within them. "Stay back, Violet!" he barked, his voice laced with urgency. "We'll handle this."

We still need to deal with them all after I get her back,’ I pushed, Drake harrumphed in agreement in my mind.

When she felt she was high enough she made a loop and tossed Archer into the air. *** Archer had heard her mumbling a couple of things to herself. But never had he thought that he would be in the air without the support of his own wings. That a girl would dare challenge him by making him look helpless and her having all the control. But he liked it. His insides lurched as he was tossed into the air. He didn’t deploy his wings just yet. Archer was dropping and fast. He had the pleasure of seeing Adalia’s eyes bulge out in fright when he got close to the ground. When he thought he was close enough his wings shot out and in a second he was right beside Adalia.

They weren't real, but their speed and erratic movements provided a genuine challenge. Sky stood confidently in her assigned position, fingers wrapped tightly around her bow. She drew a deep breath, pulled the string taut, and released her arrow. The first target burst apart with a soft pop as the arrow pierced it. She quickly fired three more arrows in succession-all striking true. Around her, her peers and the instructors nodded in approval. "Impressive how quickly she's bounced back," George murmured to Damian. "Based on standard recovery times, she should still be resting."

I was uncomfortable with the way he was moving but I didn’t pull away and I watched archer through the corner of my eye his glass of ember liquid hadn’t been touched and he smashed that glass with his bare hand as his eyes widened when Zero grabs my ass. Archer pushes Zero away and moves me behind him Zero was stunned at first then he came face to face with Archer. “What’s your problem man?” “Don’t ever fucking put your hands on her like that again,” Zero looks over at me then back at Archer. “She didn’t seem to mind. So why don’t you take a hike buddy?” Archer steps forward. “Leave now, before I lose control,” Zero shakes his head and steps closer toward Archer. They were nose to nose.
