Sage blinked, stretching their hand toward the illustrative black wolf with purple eyes that made up my chest piece. It took me a second to piece it together. The tattoo on my right bicep was an illustrative forest that made a V in the mist with a lunar eclipse in the sky. It clicked when my brain caught up to Sage reaching for the wolf. Their wolf is named Eclipse. Did the wolf on my chest remind Sage of theirs? “Eclipse? Does your wolf look like this?” I asked, touching my tattoo. “Um… yeah. Exactly like this, purple eyes and all.” Sage nodded. “Can I…” They pointed at my tattoo.

[ZARA] Call me insane, but it was the first time I really looked into his eyes. And really noticed how deep and ridiculously gorgeous they were. The light that sank on his face always tricked me into believing they were a sort of hazel. They were not. Weirdly, under the light of the room, and the shadows that captured his sturdy face, they appeared to be green. It was darker blue with a hint of green but not enough to be Sea Green. It was a lovely color. If anything, I could see myself using the color in the house. In the office or even the living room. “Relax. I saw you search for your bonds earlier. Tell me, how many bonds did you identify for yourself?” “Two, I know them both.” Sage nods and then grips my hands a little tighter before closing her eyes. I watch in silence as her eyes flit behind her eyelids. When she opens them again, the blue has faded into a milky white, and even the black of her pupil has gone, replaced by a very pale grey. It’s the most terrifying thing I have ever seen. I really hope that is now how I look when using the gift. “Interesting,” Sage hums, and then blinks her eyes until her normal eye colouring returns.

Even her nose was slightly beak shaped. Sage looked so similar to how she had always looked her skin was a light shade of green now and she smelled like wild flowers. She said and Sasha nodded in agreement. "Indeed it will". She said as she tossed a green cloth into the shopping cart.
