Sage merely shrugged, her indifference cutting through his emotions.
"And what, pray tell, is there left to discuss, Hermes? How many times do I have to make it clear that we have nothing to talk about?" She glared at him, her words laced with frustration, and Hermes found himself swallowing hard.

"But what? Spit it out," Sage's words cut him off, demanding an immediate explanation.
