And sitting at Riko’s feet was Aiko with that same devious glint in her eyes wearing the same purple tee, but instead, it said ‘Big Sis 2’. We realized later the girls had messed with Forrest’s phone, and he had to take it to the store to get it fixed.

Epilogue *Five years later.* "Deep breath in and let it go through your nose with each hit. Stay steady on your feet." I shouted at Kai as he moved to make his next swing at his target. He did a quick sidestep before spinning and slicing the demon's head clear off. "Better?" He panted as he approached the bench for water.

Xenia questioned. “True, but the girls decided their colors. Saki loves pink. It’s her signature color. So it’s most of her wardrobe at this point. And Aiko’s color of choice is purple.” I explained, “So you see? They weren’t assigned colors. It's based on what the girls gravitated to.” “Okay. I can remember that. Saki pink and Aiko purple. And their boys are Hikari and Ryū.” Xenia nodded. “Your cousins are Darius, Elijah, and Forrest, and their wife is Riko.” She continued to test her memory.

I ask as I think back to when Kai appeared at the reception, and he nods. “He has been trying to reestablish the old agreement, but after what happened last time, I will not reconsider. You being my mate is the only link I will ever have with the Sable Hide Pack, but seeing as they severed their ties with you, knowing it would cause you harm, it doesn’t matter. They’re my enemies and will eliminate them along with Argenti’s pack.” Kai says with such venom that my appetite vanishes. He gets up from his stool and grabs his cell phone and wallet from the counter.
