Raven Castle Novels & Stories

"The Royal House of Varkos must be more generous than we believe, since you are a princess..." "Please, I’m sure she meant well." Clara looked crestfallen, as if feeling bad for the backlash Leah was facing. "Lee is my friend. She must have been mistaken." "Mistaken?" Luna Laurent’s voice was shrill. "How could she say such a thing even if she is mistaken? What if we weren’t here and she defamed you?" Leah let out a scoffing laugh, shaking her head. "Luna Laurent, I didn’t want to expose the Mooncrest Pack, but… where did you say you donated? Volkov Central, Kirov Rehabilitation, or the Border Recovery Wing?”

Come alone, or Axel dies. Her pulse stuttered. The Serpent Cult… were calling her. At midnight, Raven moved like a ghost through the forest. Her wolf howled in protest, urging her to return to Axel, but she couldn’t. If they threatened his life, she’d walk into any snare to protect him. The river gurgled faintly under the moonlight, its banks choked with tangled roots. There, cloaked figures waited; five of them, their faces hidden, torches burning with green flame.

Raven handed me the reports, pulled out his phone and began texting someone on his phone. “Are… are we… going back to the Aile castle?” I asked, blinking away my tears. Lifting his eyes off the phone screen, he looked at me with a sly smirk. “You’ll see,” he chuckled, peering at his phone screen. We entered the elevator. I glanced at Raven, whose eyes were fixed on his phone screen, something mischievous playing across his lips. This can’t be good. Were we really going to Aile castle? He put his phone back into his pocket.

He's been hatching his plans for a long time and could remember how it all started. It is just gonna be a little while and he would crush Raven to pieces. Raven seemed not to have known he was the mastermind of this alliance. Raven got to her cottage up the hill in a farther part of the city. removed her mask and the same time the lights went off. Only the moonlight rays could permit her view in the already dark room. Her men came in all injured. One of them slumped on of the chairs looking very tired. He had a huge bite mark on his arm.

he asks, and I shake my head. "Not at all." I reply truthfully. "Well don't stress yourself out about it, they will love you." he reassures softly. "They are so excited. They have been messaging nonstop to find out how much longer until we get there." Raven comments with a laugh. "Oh wow." I state. We continue to make small talk until we suddenly turn down a dark gravel road. "Here we are!" Raven says excitedly, as we pull up to a large black spiked gate. Ryker reaches out and places his hand on a pad that scans it which in return opens the gate, revealing a large gothic-style castle like mansion.

“They’re coming!” The Raven Wolf King lays a hand on each of our shoulders, guiding us aside. Then he spreads his hands wide and snaps them together in a thunderous clap. The sound rolls like a wave. Silence falls before the air erupts with caws and chirps. Darkness gathers as the sky fills with ravens. They descend in a storm, sweeping past us. The flock surges into the forest, streaming toward the castle. “That will hold them off,” the King says, turning away.

he tries to assure me, sensing my sudden confusion. “Oh, nothing is exactly what it is. The place looks awful,” Raven rolls her eyes, “-it was built not long after the Shadow Pack was formed. It may as well be a part of the Blue Moon castle ruins because it looks that old,” she chuckles, sparking my sudden interest, “-we should really fix it up a little. It looks… medieval,” she shudders at the thought as her suggestion falls of deaf ears. “Hang on… the ruins of the castle are still around?” I look at my mate excitedly, taken back by the unexpected news.

The great hall of Ravencrest was alive with the low hum of conversation, the clink of goblets, and the rich scent of roasted meats, spiced wine, and burning pine logs in the massive hearths. Lanterns hung from black iron chains, casting warm golden light across the long tables draped in dark banners embroidered with the Ravencrest sigil. A wolf howling at a blood-red moon. Liera stood near her mother’s side, her posture straight and regal as befitted the daughter of Asheville’s Luna, but her mind was elsewhere.

he greeted, his voice tinged with a mix of pride and nostalgia. Stepping into the mansion's open courtyard, Raven was met with a sight that seemed plucked straight out of a fairy tale. The massive wooden table, laden with an array of mouthwatering dishes, shimmered under the soft luminescence of countless candles. The flames danced gracefully, their reflections captured in Raven's awe-filled eyes, which darted from one marvel to another.

******** To Raven, and to the Kings of the North and South, I am writing this in response to your formal inquiry regarding Raven’s origins. While our pack records from that time are sparse, I have gathered the exact details surrounding the day she was brought into our care. Raven was found in Rickshaw Town, which is a human settlement located near our borders. A human woman named Nora was the one who discovered her. According to Nora's account, she went down to the local stream early in the morning to fetch water for her household. There, she found a baby girl tucked inside a warm woven basket.
