Sia is playing with me again. I’ve heard numerous tales about the queen Luna as a child but that was all it was, a tale. My mother once said she was a strong woman choosen by the moon goddess to rule her creatures with the chosen king after she angrily put them against each other due to their disobedience and selfish acts. No one knows if the story truly happen because it was said to be thousands of years ago. ‘Sia? Was the story even true?’ I asked curiously ‘Why don’t you focuse Monna, see the that girl over there seems like she’s plotting something against you’ she responded

But now, the children were enraptured by Freya's voice as she spun an old tale, her words weaving through the air like threads of an ancient tapestry. "And so the first moon, Tvaran, was born—the Moon of Beginnings. It is the swiftest, appearing first in the sky, ushering in the start of each cycle." Freya’s voice was smooth yet firm, seasoned by years of storytelling. She paused, letting the words settle before continuing. "But the sky could not be ruled by one alone, and so came Sarun, the Constant Moon. Unlike its kin, it does not wane, does not fade. It watches over all, steadfast and unchanging. It is the guardian, the ever-present eye."

She huffed, scanning each book. She grabbed one of the novels she snagged earlier. After scanning it, she handed it to me. “Read that, it’s a legend about the Moon Queen and her five lovers. It explains how she was appointed queen, and a bit about those lovers as well. It’s an interesting read. Legend has it that the Moon Queen was able to speak to any shifter in their animal forms and she was respected and worshipped by all. She kept the peace for a long while before her untimely death. When she died, the supernatural world fell apart and war took its place.”

I ask. Still peering at the river below, Shane shrugs. “The stories change with every generation. Some say the Primordials learned to speak like humans and eventually began shifting into them as well. Others claim they hunted men in return, their magic allowing them to take the form of every life they stole.” His voice drops a notch. “But one truth is constant across every folklore.” He pauses again. “The Primordials all died, or at least went extinct. Every last one.”

Moms and dads gratefully set toddlers down and let go of their children's hands, encouraging them to follow me, so they can have a few minutes of peace. I lead the children over to the corner with all the comfortable cushions and bean bags. Once we are all settled in, I give the kids a choice, a book or a story about the Moon Goddess. They all agree they want to hear about the Moon Goddess, so I tell them the story of how the Moon Goddess and Endymion fell in love and had fifty daughters together. I leave out the parts about factions, abilities, and that I am one of those daughters. I let Lex help by using her voice for the male characters in the story.

The trees are placed perfectly around the waterfall, so that we can clearly see the stars. The moonlight reflects off the water, making the darkness disappear entirely. Basically, these three teenagers get lost on an island in Australia, and it has a moon pool. Every full moon, the pool has this magic energy that turns humans into mermaids. This show just had me casually thinking that I could be a mermaid, freely traveling throughout the sea. The mermaids also had powers like manipulating water, freezing water, and boiling water. I
