The Ascension

The Ascension

“What the hell are you saying?” “A reasonable hypothesis!” The female editor stated. She then explained in a matter-of-fact tone, “You know, I’m aware of your situation. You earn more than 40 thousand a month, including royalties from your web novels. The average salaries of professionals at our age is around 20k to 30k. You can be considered rich, especially since you live by yourself and has no family to support. There’s no reason for you to suddenly become a gardener. So apart from your search for inspiration and ideas, what else could have you pushed you to do so?”

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

My Ex-husband And Son Wants Me Back After Divorce

My Ex-husband And Son Wants Me Back After Divorce

“I told them you’re brilliant. I told them your art is bringing attention—real attention, not just noise.” I felt my chest lift at his words. He reached for my hand. “Your webcomic—it's not just surviving. It’s growing fast. We hired three people today.” My brain buzzed. “People?” He nodded. “Yes. A manager, an editor, and a social media coordinator.” I blinked. “We?” He squeezed my hand. “I did it. I want it to run well.” “Thank you,” I said, surprised. He brushed a hair from my face. “You deserve this.”

Falling for the Doctor

Falling for the Doctor

“I make around $ 450,000 a year.” Selena coughed and Cassandra quickly added, “But that’s because I’m always working. The median salary is $ 280,000 something I believe.” “God, I should have become a doctor.” Cassandra fondly caressed her shoulder, “An artist just needs the talent and the exposure. You already have the talent. Maybe we could host an exhibition for your art.”

A very good story and the way the author described and wrote this book is absolutely amazing. The story and the journey of each character is well shown in the story. Ms.Kir and Victoria should be together in the next book ,they matched each other.Megan should be with Judge Darcy to tame her.

Goodbye, My Hidden Billionaire Ex

Goodbye, My Hidden Billionaire Ex

Killian: "Of course not. The exact amount will be based on company policy. You can ask HR." "..." According to company policy, a division's Artist Manager Director only made at most 30-40k a month. That was 500k a year. Even with performance bonuses, the annual salary wouldn't exceed a million. The Chief Assistant's salary was 100k a month, plus various bonuses and performance incentives, adding up to several million a year! Sheila felt like the sky was falling. How long would it take her to pay back the thirteen million she owed? Thirteen years?

Glam Squad of the Haunted

Glam Squad of the Haunted

"Okay, Luna. I've already spoken to the boss. We're hiring you as the permanent makeup artist for our instance!" "I…" I was about to say no, but the words died on my lips when she mentioned the salary they were offering. "You'll earn a monthly salary of ten thousand, plus a one-thousand-dollar commission per ghost NPC per time." My jaw nearly dropped. As a low-level makeup artist on a film set, I worked myself to the bone each month just to earn five thousand. Even if this was a horror game, money was money. Ghosts or not, there was no way I was turning down that pay.

I Stole The Billionaire's Heart

I Stole The Billionaire's Heart

But the thought made me smile. Being able to do graphic and character design for the rest of my life genuinely made me smile. Or maybe I could start my own comic book line. I sighed as I slid down into my chair. Unlike Allison and Michael, however, I’d have to work full time in order to save up the money. I didn’t have the grades for scholarships, and being poor only got someone like me so far with federal grants and shit like that. I sure as hell wasn’t taking out loans, either. Not without some sort of guaranteed way to pay them back. Which meant me working in the grocery store full-time—or working another job full-time—until I saved up the money for my first few semesters.

Marked By The Cursed Alpha Prince

Marked By The Cursed Alpha Prince

At least I’m not throwing coins into a bottomless well. He would supply a thousand books. His artist, who drew pictures so lively they almost jumped off the page, had been dragged into this madness too. The artist was given a contract to create a hundred image novels. New stories and original ones. The newer the idea, the higher the price. Thirty per cent of the payment had already arrived. The rest would come later after the deal was done. He was assuming this whole thing didn’t collapse like a house of cards. It was strange and risky deal. But higher the risk, the greater the profit.

I ask, pointing at his tablet. "It's not an app. This is a drawing tab," he replies. "Oh..," I nod. "So, you are actually a professional artist. What are you drawing that for?" "Actually, it's for a comic. I'm drawing for an author." "What! Are you a comic artist?!" To say I was surprised would be an understatement. "Yeah, kind of," he nods. "But a small one. I started drawing recently. I don't make much money."

The Ace at the Apex

The Ace at the Apex

“Well, he’s doing pretty well if you compare him to the amount of money normal folks make. He’s paid about 15,000 for his appearance in a single episode, for example. But I guess he isn’t making impressive money if we compare him to celebrities with a lot of fans and whatnot.” Javier could not believe it. A veteran artist was getting that egregiously low amount of money for his sheer talent? In comparison, many popular celebrities billed 110,000 to 130,000 dollars for the equivalent amount of work, and that was just the maximum amount they could ask for by law.

Starting Anew

Starting Anew

"These are some projects that clients have personally commissioned from me. I might not be attached to any company, but I certainly have not given up on my career." Cedric's eyes lit up after seeing my work. "I knew you were talented! We would be lucky to have you in our studio! Your basic salary is three thousand dollars. This doesn't include any commissions, for which the sky is the limit!" Just like that, Celia and I became colleagues. She hugged my arm excitedly and said, "At long last, I'm now working together with someone I look up to!" I laughed and thought to myself, 'There's still so much to live for.'

Frequently Asked Questions

Consider the long-term relationship. If you're planning a series, locking in an artist with a multi-project contract can sometimes get you a better rate per page. It guarantees them steady work.

Discuss future plans during your initial talks. An artist might be more willing to invest in character designs and world-building if they know it's for 100 pages, not just 10.
