My bones nearly cracked from the impact as it slammed against the hard floor. I glared at the crowd of people who'd been my family for the first 20 years of my life, now threatening and beating me up all for the sake of an outsider, and felt my heart turn to stone. Sandy nodded, but a wave of anxiety enveloped her as she turned to me. Her voice trembled as she whispered in my ear, “I forgot to tell you about the special guest. He's my cousin Oliver, and let me tell you, he's the neatest man I've ever seen. Surviving his visit is like surviving in hell."

She stalkingly walked to the females, thinking if she didn't sit for a minute she might faint. was she getting fired? or was there something she did not know or was missing?
