With the way I had been all tough and stubborn, now showing a sign of concern, I could understand him for not wanting to indulge anymore but I couldn’t stop trying.
We may have started off the wrong way but with everything I said to him, he still showed me an act of kindness, something I hardly get from anyone. Wouldn’t be bad to do same, I walked closer to him.
"It's okay, Aiden... you can talk to me," I assured him gently. Seeing how tense he still was, I offered a small, reassuring smile to break the ice.
“I don't bite you know. Besides, I don't even have a wolf." I tried to sound funny.
