Slowly, my eyes started getting heavier and everything got blurry. I was losing control over my body and my knees were weakening. The last thing I saw before falling on the floor was Atlas holding me tightly in his arms. Atlas's POV... The moment I saw Caroline falling on the floor, my heart almost stopped, my entire body jerked in terror.

' She told me everything and I ran towards my car taking my overcoat in my hand. 'Hey, hey hey. Stop, where are you going without pulling your coat over. It's cold outside Lisa.' Said Dr. Ray as soon as he saw me going out. 'Sarah!!' I panted 'She fell from the staircase last night.' I said and he automatically responded. 'What?!! Lemme take you there.' He said.

Then — a blast. The floor shook violently. Sarah’s foot twisted. She stumbled — hard. Her hand slipped from Damon’s. A scream ripped from his throat — primal, raw. Sarah! She fell sideways — hitting metal, pain exploding through her shoulder. Smoke thickened, swallowing her whole. She tried to rise but the world spun, gravity dragging her down. Another blast — closer. Sparks. Shrapnel flying. Her lungs burned. She coughed violently, vision blurring. Darkness crept in around the edges.

Sarah was facing her back to the stairs when Ashley pushed her hard, she had fallen on her back. Everybody couldn't help but scream together, "Sarah!" Stefan ran towards her and Ronald behind him. She has fallen skipping three downstairs and her head hit to the fourth stair and she rolled few stairs but before it could be fatal Stefan held her and Ronald too supported him from the back. Sarah fainted and blood started oozing from the back of her head and making pool not only on the floor but also on the soaked into Stefan's clothes.

The lady and doctor tried to stop her, but she grabbed her bag and bolted. Saraya reached home. Her head pained like hell. Avoiding the front door, she went to the back and looked around. Nobody was there. She hung her bag on her shoulder and tried to climb the pipe. Dizziness increased. She jerked her head and tried to climb. She was a few feet from the window when everything went blank, and her hand slipped. Saraya whimpered as a wave of pain shot through her spine. She tried to get up but fell into the deep well of darkness. To be continued…
