Echoes of Moonfire

Echoes of Moonfire

I kept going and then, I heard a sound: a guttural, grinding growl that made the marrow in my bones quiver. I froze. From between two trees, a shape lumbered into view. Massive, shoulders hunched, tusks glinting in the weak moonlight. A troll. Its hide was thick and gray, like stone carved into flesh, its eyes small and burning like coals. Another emerged beside it, then another, their footsteps pounding the earth. It was huge, they reminded me of the trolls I met in Raven’s underground wrestling ring only that these ones were more wild, unpredictable and predatory.

Silvia POV I recognize the smell instantly. In the old stories they talk about the effect of troll stink. In the pictures, entire armies are razed to the ground as a troll stands over them, grinning through teeth like haphazardly strewn gravestones. I always wondered how I would know if I was smelling troll stink. Now I know.

Shattered Bonds

Shattered Bonds

There’s no way that Hera and I can cross it. We slowly walk up to the bridge. I can see the trolls sitting below us. They smell similar to rogues, like dead, rotting flesh. I wonder if they are like rogues, unable to be reasoned with, or if they just like to stink. So far, they are the first fae creatures that I have seen that are not kind. Since I haven’t run into Buppig, I assume he went back the long way around. Since I don’t know that way, I’m going to try my luck with the trolls. Hera shifts and I stand, walking to the edge of the cliff.

I feel like Richie was ripped off in this book, he didn't do anything wrong and he was treated as though he did. if he led Gwen before his mate on or if she was an old fling I'd understand. I also didn't like how we got snippets of the other siblings love lives as if there won't be a book on them.
Brittanee Call
Another freaking amazing book (finished in a day) lol I love that your books aren’t unnecessarily long, dragging out the plot. I can’t wait to start on the next book in the series. Having the flu has its perks lol I get to read all day and not worry about my 9 to 5 lol amazing work Cooper!! ...️...️...️...️

My Alpha

My Alpha

TROLL In old norse mythology, beings described as trolls dwell in isolated rocks, mountains, or caves, living together in a small family units, and are rarely helpful to human kind. "Well I guess I can't count on them when the time comes" I stated Flipping through the book I decided to flip the books closer to the back few pages, Then I landed on a title that peaked my interest only slightly though. VAMPIRE Evil mythological beings who roam the world at night never venturing out in the day time as the sunlight because only feeding on the essential life force of humans to remain immortal has its down side, when vampires drink the blood of humans its cold when vampires go into the sunlight the

SPACE WOLF

SPACE WOLF

"I have never heard of such a thing. We can't talk to them." Ragnar made a defensive move against the thorn. "You live on an island. The sea is clean of such filth,' he said. Ragnar nodded. He stretched and yawned despite Kjell's words. He was suddenly tired. He threw himself into the fire and fell into a terrible sleep. He had many strange and scary dreams. He dreamed of a blind worm roaming the bottom of the sea and gnawing at the roots of the island. He dreamed of a twisted owl and a monstrous wolf. He dreamed of a huge beast with a human form but with a wolf's head. . Suddenly he was filled with fear. Because it looked like the creature he had dreamed of was sitting right there in the fi

The trolls were enormous, with thick, gray skin and long arms that swung by their sides, but instead of charging, they stopped at a distance and raised their hands in a peaceful gesture. “Hold!” Wulfric barked, motioning for the pack to stand down, though the tension remained high. The lead troll stepped forward, his voice deep and resonant. “We mean you no harm,” the troll said, his words slow but clear. “We have heard of your journey… your quest for the haven. We would like to join you.” “How did you know that we were going to find the haven?”

THE ALPHA OF SHADOWS.

THE ALPHA OF SHADOWS.

He just survived death. He made a slight movement again just to confirm what he just remembered, and the pain that came with it was enough proof. He just escaped death. But there was still one question bothering him. "How come we were attacked by trolls". It was a very troubling question judging from the fact that they were up north, and trolls were known to reside down south. They never ventured anywhere past the southern boarders. At least non he had heard of. "That's the same question everyone else has been asking around here. But no one has come up with a meaningful answer".

I was surprised my laughing didn’t wake Kaileeh up. “Alright,” I started once my laughter subsided. “You mean to tell me that two vampires and two werewolves couldn’t steer clear of Troll traps and repeatedly walked into them? Not only that, but female Trolls, who aren’t but a foot tall, essentially tried to have their way with you, and you were defenseless, obviously because they pretty much tore your clothes to shreds, and you’re supposed to be two of the most feared creatures in the world? Oh wow, I’m so scared,” I stated sarcastically. At this, Sage and Alyx began to laugh too.

she growled. “I know nothing about a sister or a – ow!” The troll was interrupted by Rose sticking him with her sword. “Okay, okay. They took them to the mountain.” “What mountain?” I growled. I could feel my magic in my fingers. I wanted to hurt this thing. The troll rolled its eyes. “Troll Mountain. The giant castle built into a rock. Ever heard of it?” it snapped. “I thought we lived under rocks…” it muttered. “You will take us there,” Thomas growled.

Wolf Tales

And the hand-drawn pictures showed magnificent animals, sometimes poised on a rock in the moonlight, other times racing through woods. The first chapters of the book were devoted to the history of shifters and the explanation of the Slavic term for them, vlkodlak. Now why did that suddenly sound familiar to her? Of course! Her neighbor, Mike Volka. He'd said his ancestry was Slavic. Was that the reason for his interest in werewolves? She needed to get the book out again and get back into it. She replaced what she called her library clothes with sweats and a long-sleeved tee shirt, leaving off her bra, a treat she gave herself in the privacy of her own home. Then she fed Mischief, fixed herse
