The old woman looked at the surroundings from one side to the other, but there was nothing suspicious, nothing that gave information about this baby or any presence in the surroundings. He swung his arm out in front, the knife jutting from the palm of his hand. It hit the spider in the middle of its eyes. It screamed as the knife crunched and slid into its surface.
