Lucy's hands trembled slightly as she stared at the articles spreading across the screen. More headlines kept appearing every second. Photos of Hart standing close to her. Photos of Vanessa glaring at her. Photos of him handing her the business card. Someone had recorded everything. Her stomach tightened painfully. "This is bad," she whispered. Hart's expression remained cold as he scrolled through the posts. The air around him felt different now. Sharper. Dangerous. Lucy finally understood why people feared him.

Audrey Sinclair sat at her desk, staring at the glowing screen of her laptop. The article's headline screamed back at her: "Sinclair Heiress Returns Amid Mental Health Concerns: Is Audrey Sinclair Fit to Lead?" Her fingers trembled as she scrolled through the comments. People were calling her unstable, broken, a risk to the whole damn company. She rubbed her thumb along the edge of her wrist, right over that old scar, fighting the sting in her eyes.

Almost getting raped is like a scene straight out from a horror movie, it's by far the most scariest thing I could think of and I am glad I was able to come out of it with only a bitter taste in my mouth and not an actual emotional scar that would last forever...
