Kim's eyes widened. "I mean, I heard from people before that there's a ferocious monster living in this place. Five years ago, a family was murdered by an unknown criminal. When the police examined their corpses, they found out that their body parts, like liver and heart, were missing. Someone saw a werewolf monster roaming around when the moon turned full." Kim's eyes widened again. He didn't know if he believed in werewolves because it was only a story. "Kim, let me tell you that please don't go outside at night," Elder Gina reminded him.

I jump when a voice suddenly dooms from behind me. "It's unusual to see people here,” a man says from behind me. Standing up straight, I turn to see who's there. The people of the city feared them because they were different, and the Sceneca were killed because of this. This place was where the deed was done. Many people of the city avoid coming here because they are under the belief that they will be cursed by angry tribesmen,” the young man tells the story with a faraway l

He then began to tell a story that Hana thought absolutely doesn't make sense. *** "Don't come out at sunset if you don't want to be kidnapped by a witch." Long ago, when her grandfather was still alive, he used to scare Hana with that sentence every time Hana come home late because she was too busy playing. The sentence that when she was more mature she considered a delusion but surprisingly actually did exist. The witch that Hana considers a fairy tale turns out to be a real creature roaming around her. Even with other creatures such as vampires and werewolves.

Ken asks while trying to make the conversation a little lighter. "I swear, Ken. Big huge hairy creatures that shift between men....and ugly wolf-men hybrids...They also talked about vampires at the place they held me for four days. We don't live in the world we think we do...I swear on mom. The girl I escaped with...they shot her in the back of the head. To escape from the basement I made the furnace explode...I killed people to get away from them, Kenny. I became a monster to escape monsters. I would never make that up," I declare, and Ken's eyes widen as he digests my words.

"Is it so scary?" Hana asked Henry curiously. Henry's panicked expression was accusing him, his face pale, his eyes unbelievably panicked. Hana stood still, waiting for Henry to settle down, and asked, "Is that store scary?" Henry said fearfully, "It's a store for the abandoned. Those who entered it became criminals of the entire Quansi continent. Hana, the fact that we came in here will spread all over the place," "No one knows we got in here," Hana reassured Henry.

I take a deep breath as I feel the sand under my feet. I couldn't help but think of what this meant, he didn't want to be friends, and I didn't want to be together…so where did that leave us? Then this crazy, crazy explanation for this meltdown he had right after I told him I hated him. Well, whatever that was… I'd have to ask my uncle about those Haida stories about people shifting into creatures…but then again they are just ‘made up’ stories— I just couldn't shake those horrific sounds, Kol in pain and him telling me to shoot to kill him. It all didn't make any sense.
