It’s from a strange number, but I instantly realize who it is when I read the first line; “Little Caramel, Remember, when I said I would go to any lengths to make you mine? I hope you’re enjoying the chaos.” Once I read the last line, the message mysteriously disappears. I kid you not, I end up searching my entire incoming message history but the message has truly disappeared. Poof! Just like that. It’s like black magic.

Curiosity piqued, she opened the message, and what she found shook her to the core. The message was short and cryptic, containing only a picture and a single sentence that sent a shiver down her spine. She read the message again, her eyes widening in shock. The implications of the message were alarming, leaving her feeling vulnerable and exposed. Vanessa's mind raced with questions as she tried to make sense of the message and its sender. Who could have sent her this cryptic warning? Was it related to her conversation with Alex or something entirely different? I got my phone out when I got bored and winced when I saw the gazillion messages and notifications I'd gotten in the short time I'd abandoned it. Tons of them were about work and business, but then in the midst of all those messages was one from an unknown number. I opened it with squinted eyes and gasped when I saw the wordings. "Scarlett is not going to survive. She needs to be punished." I gripped the phone tighter and continued to read it until it was engraved on my brain. Shit. What the fuck was going on? Had whoever sent this shit been the one who set up the accident?

Then he reached for his phone only to find another message waiting for him. No sender ID. No preview text. Just a blank notification box. He opened it. One sentence. “Some stories are safer unfinished.” His stomach dropped. He read it again. “Some stories are safer unfinished.” Liam’s vision tightened, breath hitching. Because this wasn’t a warning. It was a command. A threat. And a prophecy. His hands trembled as he looked at the envelope again the truth burning his fingers. Someone wanted to erase their story. Not because it was messy.

But just as I was about to close the laptop, another message popped up. Same unknown sender. Same eerie tone. Subject: You’ve inspired the wrong person, Lena. My pulse quickened. The body of the message was short. Not everyone wants you to keep telling your story. Some truths aren’t meant to be shared. The words chilled me. I glanced toward the stairs where Roman’s shadow moved faintly in the hallway, the twins’ soft cries echoing through the baby monitor. My fingers hovered over the delete button, but I couldn’t bring myself to press it.

They spoke of something really ominous. I saw the messages, and my jaws tightened immediately as I scrolled. The messages were filled with short instructions, processed payments and confirmations. These weren’t random contacts. They were killers, and Bambi had been communicating with them. She had not just been communicating with them. Different deadly plans in place, both ones that had been executed already. My grip tightened around the phone. “This…” I muttered, my voice low and dangerous. “This is bigger than we thought.” We sneaked out of the house. I dropped off Micheala at Johnny’s as I headed back. A lot ran through my mind.

These were the random thoughts i had in my head to keep me from the fact i was literally heading into danger. Or into an dark abandoned street at least. I felt a beep suddenly as i carried my legs on the ground. And hope lit in my eyes as i was able to finally secure a signal. In came a message from the unknown number with an attached file. Unknown: i hope you’re alone. Or your friend is dead.

I consoled him and gave him some water. “She locked me up in the store room” “WHAT? IN THE STOOR ROOM? HOW DID YOU COME HERE! Tell me everything.” I questioned. “I was locked inside since morning and when she opened me up, I ran and hid here. She warned me that she’ll lock me again if I told this to anyone.” I stood up and as I went forward Zac held my leg and started to cry. “Please don’t go. I don’t want to get locked please.”
