That was a close call. Scar started talking about this one show that she was watching, and to be honest i wasn't really interested in it. She seemed to have noticed that and asked me, what i wanted to do. At the very moment i heard my phone ring, telling me that i had received a message. I unlocked my phone to see that some unknown number had texted me. I opened the message only to feel the blood drain from my face. The message looked so casual but i knew that it wasn't. I felt as though my predator was closing in on me and i couldn't find any place to run. I blinked twice just to make sure that it wasn't a dream.

The email had been short and direct: My office. 8 PM. Don't be late. Ella stared at her computer screen, her stomach twisting into knots. It was 7:47 PM now, and the rest of the office had cleared out hours ago. She was alone on the top floor of Sterling Industries with nothing but the hum of the air conditioning and her racing heartbeat for company. She had screwed up. Badly.

My heart skipped a beat as I read the title on the screen: *The Death of You. A chill ran down my spine. Someone had been in my room. And they had left a message.

Scarlet's voice cracked as she explained the situation to Trump and Lyssa, her eyes welling up with tears. "It's...it's a blackmail message. Someone has a photo of me and Peter, and they're threatening to send it to everyone unless I pay them 1 million dollars." Her words tumbled out in a panicked rush, her fear and anxiety obvious. Trump's face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger and concern. "Show me," he said, his voice firm and reassuring. He took the phone from Scarlet's trembling hands, his expression growing grimmer as he examined the message and photo.

I walk over to him and take his hands. "Jon, look at me. I'm telling you the truth. We'll explain more later, but we need to take care of this mess right now. It was a message from an unknown number that ended with **29 and it read: “There’s a rose for you. I hope you sniff it before the brakes fail. And what happens when a brake fails on the busy streets of New York?” I frowned, but the next message came immediately. A wave of fear crashed down on my chest, and my throat felt tight. “Screech. Crash. Silence.”

She knew there was no way she could forgive herself. As she walked home, a shiver ran down her spine. That morning, she had received a mysterious message at work: "Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight. Come alone." Aria tried to ignore it, but her heart raced. Who could be contacting her, and why? Could it be a secret skalker? She knew the old warehouse mentioned in the message; it was the only one in the city. As the day dragged on, her anxiety and curiosity grew. She couldn’t concentrate at work, her mind constantly drifting back to the message. What did it mean, and who was behind it?
