The demon quickly moved away from her and walked out of the living room not turning back to look at her. April watched him leave until he was out of sight, she finally breathe in and she realised she had actually subconsciously held her breath when the demon came near her. She turned to look at the person who had just entered the living room, there, she saw another poker faced mysterious creature. She could not tell who was more scarier and intimidating between him and the demon. Could he also be a demon? She could feel the dark aura coming from him merely looking at him. He stopped walking the moment he saw her and April could swear that he looked startled when he saw her. She moved from he

"Hold on a little bit." Megan held on to her camera which was handing from a strap on her neck, she had been coming to this same mall almost everyday for the sweet and rich coffee that The Brit cafe makes, but that was a cover up. Everyday she would sit and look out the window while sipping her coffee and looking into the crowd for hopes of maybe seeing Omar walking through in search of her, but that never happened and everyday she would go home more heart broken.

“Where’s your lover boy? Tell him to show his face! “I want to kill you! I’ll tear you to pieces! “I’m looking right at you…” I jerked my head back. Amid the crowded street, I couldn’t find that silhouette anywhere. However, the malicious gaze on me was hard to ignore. The malice radar went off. In the distance, a man with a baseball cap stood among the crowd. A terrifying, ink-red 5000 pulsed above his head. It was Cameron, and his malice value had soared to 5,000. The small table in the corner with a machine on it. I can see the door, and I think its gray. Everything is fuzzy, but shapes are a lot more vivid shapes and colors. Theres no longer just a white light.”

I opened it. A screenshot. The image was dim. The bar lighting translated poorly to a camera that had been shooting from a distance and at an angle that suggested it had been taken without the subjects knowing it existed. It was blurry in the specific way of something captured on a phone from across a room in low light. But it was unmistakable.

“You need to see this. Now.” I turn back to the main display as video feeds from Alaska fill the wall. The collapsed facility site is no longer quiet. Rubble shifts. Ice cracks. The ground pulses with unnatural light. Theo stands in the wreckage. Fully formed now. Scarred but whole. Silver eyes burning with cold intent. And he is not alone. Scottie stands beside him. Alive. Regenerating. The sight hits me harder than any blade ever could. Between them, held carefully as if it is sacred, floats something impossible.
