She leaned in closer, her face inches from Nathan's hand, as she examined the ring more closely. Dora's eyes widened as she took in the intricate markings and inscription on the ring. A tiny half-moon and what looked like a sun adorned the right side, surrounded by other symbols she couldn't decipher. Her curiosity piqued, she whispered to herself, "What type of ring is this?" She glanced up at Nathan's face, his emerald eyes closed in slumber. Seizing the opportunity, she reached for his hand, her fingers brushing against his as she attempted to remove the ring from his finger.

The rings were sacred, sent directly by the moon goddess herself, only given to Alphas and Lunas. They could not be removed; they were linked to the fibers of the skin. Only amputation was the way to be rid of them. “You may now kiss to seal the bond,” the officiant announced.

After seeing Clement and his parents off with Mom and Dad, I rubbed my tired eyes. Before going to bed, I checked my phone and came across a new post from Celine. Her posts were only visible to me. The photograph captured two intertwined hands, each with a custom ring on their ring finger. The caption read, "Jay put it on me—slipped it on my finger himself. I'm over the moon!" I had spent almost half a year designing those rings. They were one of a kind, and he had given them to Celine without the slightest concern for me.

"And one day, I presented her with the ring you wear, He looked at it. The top of it holding the yellow stone glittered, Xander saying,"As we maintain Order, every new Don of Carnefecina gets the tattoo of all nine planets on their back. A sign of balance. Perfection. Something beautiful from chaos, but every Don that rules, is given two things. A ring called Halo that reminds one of the Sun, to show their power over other things and the other, a crescent moon with a star, to be given to who the Don keeps higher than themselves. In other words, if there's a life or death situation, also called Venus bearer's life would be put first before the Don himself,"

he asked. "Well..." How did he find the words to tell his boss, when he couldn't face the truth yet himself? Zain spread his hands and shrugged, blowing out a breath. "I see. What I mean to ask, is this a permanent type of thing?" "It seems that way, sir." Zain's knee bounced and he tapped his fingers together, testing the sensors. He'd picked out rings. They were in the shape of light sabers with sapphires and rubies. But they weren't there yet. He just liked knowing what to get when the time came.

Intrigued, I inquired about its function. "Spatial rings are created by manipulating the laws of space by high-level cultivators," the System explained. "Once you become strong enough, you will have the ability to create your own rings." As I made my way to the Golden Leaf restaurant, lost in thought, I was jolted back to reality by the sound of screeching tires. Instinctively, I leaped out of harm's way, narrowly avoiding being run over by a flying car that had failed to stop in time.

When they arrived, Alexei stopped, still holding her hand. "Alexei?" He took a deep breath and pulled the case from the inner pocket of his overcoat. Carla looked at the object, her eyes widening. "What is that?" He didn't answer immediately. He opened the case, and the two rings gleamed beneath the moonlight — the silver bands, the stones containing miniature nebulas, the runes pulsing softly. He took the smaller ring, hers, and held it in the palm of his hand. "I had these rings made. With some pixies." His voice came out lower than he expected. "They used something of yours, something you wear every day, so that it wouldn't just be a piece of jewelry, but a part of you."

They each gave their respective rings that contains the materials. When they are actually on the way to the field, they found out that the ring was actually a storage ring. "Wait, oh shit," Matthew muttered under his breath when he realized that Ambrose was still wearing his old engagement ring and wedding ring. "Let me get that off real quick." Ambrose couldn't help but chuckle as Matthew fumbled with the rings on his finger before putting on the new ring onto his finger. "It's beautiful, Matt.
