He forgot all about looking good and lunged to catch the dolls, but he lost his balance and fell right into the huge cake. He was a mess, covered in cream from head to toe. Seeing him like that, I could not help but feel a rush of glee inside. Rose screamed uncontrollably, "What's going on here? They're just silly clay figures. Why the big fuss?" However, Chester did not care. His teeth chattered as he marched right up to me. He grabbed my shoulders so hard that I thought they might break. "Who are you?! Where did this come from?"

My legs were twisted, crushed under the weight of the snow. Shawn collapsed as he finally saw my corpse. The tool clattered to the ground. He stared blankly at my corpse as he shook his head vehemently.

Intrigued, I chime in, "What did Chloe say, anyway?" Winter takes a deep breath and glances between us, preparing to explain the strange situation. "Alright, here's the deal," she starts, sounding like a seasoned storyteller. "Chloe, our dog-whisperer friend here, claims she was attacked on the neck by a rabid street dog months ago. Scarlett, being squeamish, was totally grossed out by it."

I tried to resist, but my body was too weak. "Ethan..." I said with my last bit of strength. "You're going to regret this..." "The only thing I regret is not killing you sooner!" he roared. Just as they were about to haul me out of the shelter, a beastly howl came from the wreckage above us. A lethal danger, right on top of us. CRASH! The ceiling exploded downward in a shower of concrete and dust. White-furred figures dropped through the hole. The mutated snow ghouls. They had thick white fur, claws like razors, and blood-red eyes that glowed in the dark.

Skye said, "I'm beginning to think she's different from us." Just as Rowen was about to speak, a hand slapped his shoulder from the shadows. He squealed, yelling, "Ghost!" Mobius chuckled. "It's me, not a ghost." Rowen shot back, "Trying to give me a scare?" Mobius replied, "You two, out. Don't ruin the mood."

It wasn’t particularly cold. “Oh come on,” I said. “It’ll be fine. If it’s one of those girl ghosts with the long black hair we’ll easily beat the shit out of her.” I followed Jespert through the gravestones, sword in hand just in case. Sadly, Sadako never appeared. In the middle of the cemetery there was a stone building. A crypt. The doorway was a gaping black hole. Jespert disappeared into it.
