The two men immediately crouched, making their way over in the direction that Wilbur had pointed in. Not long after, they stopped behind a huge rock as Wilbur said, "He's right in front. Get him." Ryder stuck out his head to peer ahead of him. The only thing that he could see five hundred meters ahead was a two-meter-tall Gobo, his muscles bulging as he hunched over the body of a large bear and was sucking on its blood. Gobo looked just like a feral beast at that moment, vicious and murderous. He was also impossibly powerful, able to take down a bear that weighed several tonnes. A regular human being would have been killed by such a beast on sight.

That leftover bastard of a survivor from the Forgotten Valley sure was evil, waiting patiently to strike at the right time. Ether's expression was positively murderous as he howled loudly, "Ambrose, are you trying to take out the Soaring Eagle Fort? I'm afraid it'll take a lot more than just you! Take this!" As the words rang through the air, the black bear released a howl as it rushed toward Ambrose. It lifted a gigantic paw, clawing harshly against the top of Ambrose's head. The sand pirates could hardly contain their excitement as they watched from below. "Leader's the best…"

"I read it in this book , there is a certain theory which say that people might have ghost clones, these clones looks and dresses exactly like the original you and they can do anything you can do. Sometimes if you are lucky you can have a good clone but if you are unlucky you are likely to have a bad and evil clone , which means you are unlucky because yours is evil" he explained. His explanation shocked me , i have never heard such things and I've never believed in ghost theories.

The bear roared in pain and fell to the ground, defeated. Jerry and his family were in shock. They had never seen magic like this before. The hooded figures approached them and introduced themselves as a group of powerful wizards who had been tracking the bear for days. They explained that the bear had been possessed by an evil spirit, and they had been tasked with defeating it before it could cause any more harm.

Daddy got him for my birthday!" I settled onto the plush rug, listening as Alana launched into an epic saga about Bear-Bear’s adventures in the Land of Missing Socks. Knock. Knock. The sound was soft. I turned. Gareth stood in the doorway. The apron was gone, leaving him in a simple charcoal t-shirt that stretched across his shoulders. In his hands, he balanced a wooden tray with two glass bowls.

The runes glowed faintly as the Ghost Needle vanished from Logo’s hand in the blink of an eye, moving with such speed that it seemed like teleportation. But Logo knew this wasn't spatial ability. The explosive speed of the Ghost Needle gave the illusion of instantaneous movement. Pfft! The half-meter-long spiral needle, empowered by the runes, pierced Jesta's skull. Even his enhanced fur and bones, capable of withstanding a barrage of machine cannon fire, were like paper in the face of the Ghost Needle. Boom! The three-ton corpse of the bear crashed to the ground, its massive inertia creating a deep trench as it dragged Logo with it.

With a click, the clasp came undone, and the pendant fell to the floor. In a flash, Zoe’s eyes widened. She grabbed my collar like a madwoman. “Y-You… You didn’t switch fates? You lied to me?!” I looked at her in surprise. “What are you talking about?” Miles suddenly exclaimed, “Ow, Maisie. My neck feels itchy.” He pulled down his collar, exposing his collarbone, and clearly revealed who was actually wearing the demonic fate-swapping lock.

Blood gushes out onto his clothes, the floor, his face. “The Ghost! The Ghost! The Ghost!” Everyone resumes cheering. But Luciano doesn't stop. He keeps stabbing the man, repeatedly until there's nothing left of the Iron Bear. Then he staggers to his feet, covered in blood, dark eyes alight with fury. What scares me even more is that the blank expression is back on his face, masking the furious part of him so quickly. What just happened? The crowd starts counting again, this time just for fun because it's already clear the Iron Bear won't be rising from the dead to defend himself anytime soon.
