Property of the Alpha Prince

Property of the Alpha Prince

Lynx kept his distance too with a furtive wary glance at the ancient guardian. “Once you take on this task, you must succeed,” said Papa Bois. Hayden stiffened. Are you all right? Asked Cory. No, said Hayden honestly. I don’t like where this is going! Cory knitted her eyebrows together in confusion. Where was it going? Papa Bois straightened in his seat. Cory realised his boulder was covered in strange markings, similar to those on the Omniscient Oak that Sprout had lived in. As she beheld them, a few of the markings gleamed supernaturally. She heard a chorus of screams in her mind, she jumped, startled, and immediately tore her eyes from the symbols.

Wow this book is already pulling me in. I hope they are mates. Love all your books Joanna. In your other books we know they are mates but not in this one. Sprout sounds so cute. I love how this is a different time period and different style of story than your other books. Excited for more

Absolutely loved this journey, this story was so different and creative I loved everything about it. Just the right amount of everything without being to much, I could really see this becoming a movie.

The executioner and the Alpha King

The executioner and the Alpha King

“If you make one more Scooby-Doo reference, I will shove that scroll somewhere anatomically impressive.” He grins. “Zoinks.” I stifle a laugh. For a moment, it helps. We turn from the mirror. But as we walk away, its surface ripples behind us—quiet, subtle—like water catching moonlight. It doesn’t reflect our backs. It reflects a battlefield. One painted in silver. And blood.

Loving the Wrong Alpha

Loving the Wrong Alpha

I wanted to ask if I could tag along but I felt I would be inconveniencing them and kind of ruining whatever plan they had, so I brushed the thought away. **** "Charles I need you and Piers to be on the lookout for a particular symbol, it is a tattoo," I invited Charles and Piers over to discuss our next assignment. "It's a symbol of a moon with a crown. It looks like a crowned moon. So far, I have seen two people with this symbol on their arms" I explained further "Ok Boss, this is beginning to sound like we are dealing with a sort of cult," Piers said "Exactly! Because I believe that symbol means something" I said agreeing with what Piers said

Shifted Fate

“No way.” “What?” Alannah and I turned. “I’ve seen that symbol before.” He pointed to the napkin. “Where?” I leaned over. “Are you sure? This symbol? The three circles with tails chasing each other?” He nodded. “I swear it.” “Where?” He looked at a deathly pale Rick. “I’ve seen it on Rick’s daughter.” Alannah gasped. But Ternen shook his head. “I’ve seen it on a few of the young pups.”

I LOVED the 5 chapters I read. The author found a different path than the usual werewolf novel. HOWEVER! Unlike most novels or book clubs, when you reach a certain point, you have the option of buying credit, joining the club, OR watching ads. MINUS TEN STARS for no ad reading option. Pure greed.

I’d love for Amy and Rowan’s story to continue. Rebuilding the kingdom, righting all the wrongs… life between Amy’s story and Carly’s. Then Carly’s story. I’d even love some character stories as standalone. I love the world you’ve created. I’m daydreaming of the future of this world so much! <3

The Lone Wolf

The Lone Wolf

“It could also be a storm or something we cannot harness. The circle may represent the world, and the lightning the forces of nature. It could be talking about something powerful, perhaps an elemental force.” Cayla tapped her chin. “And what if it’s a warning? Like the net symbol from earlier. Maybe we need to avoid something powerful.” The warrior nodded. “That’s a possibility. We’ll have to be careful.” The general's eyes gleamed in understanding. He was finally getting the hang of things. “There’s a symbol further down the room, near the edge of the door. It looks like a spiral. Spirals often represent paths or cycles in old languages. It could indicate that we need to follow a specific p

Married To The Russian Mafia Boss

Married To The Russian Mafia Boss

His eyes roam the picture and I know by the looks in his eyes he's seen it too. “Shamrock,” he mutters, the weight of the realisation sinking in. A shamrock is one of the three symbols used by the Irish mob. It's a symbol of ownership by the mob and a marking only reserved for those in their shit list. Which apparently Aaron Blackwood was part of. “When Aaron went missing this was the only thing left behind.” The Irish mob were very particular about what they did. They weren't sloppy and their leader wasn't the kind of person who would allow something like this to be left behind at the crime scene.

Mated To Alpha Orion

Mated To Alpha Orion

I don't know if it's the alcohol but the man siting next to me is hot and handsome and he's radiates this power of him, I immediately know that he's a wolf and from the look in his eyes I can see that he can sense that I'm one too. “Who was your favourite character?” I ask him. “What?” He asks looking confused and for the first time today since I left Oscar, I let out a genuine chuckle. “You said you loved Scooby Doo growing up, so who was your favourite character?” I asked him. “Oh, definitely Shaggy and Scooby. What about you?” He asked me. “Never watched it.” I tell him and he looks shocked. “A childhood without Scooby Doo? How did you survive?” He asks me.

What Butterflies Don’t Tell You.

What Butterflies Don’t Tell You.

“Open to chapter three.” I obeyed. Mostly because the look she was giving me suggested violence. "Symbolism", she whispered. I frowned. “What’s symbolism again?” Her eyes widened. “You cannot be serious.” “I’m very serious.” She flipped open the book. “The bluebird represents freedom.” “It’s a bird.” “It’s a symbol.” “It’s still a bird.” She closed her eyes. “This is going to be a very long semester.” “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ll carry us.”

One Night With My Alpha Professor

One Night With My Alpha Professor

As I sat down across from him, I could feel his eyes boring holes into my head. “Leo,” I breathed, my voice trembling, “I can explain—” “Do you understand the significance of what you’ve done?” he interrupted. My eyes widened. “I-I didn’t do anything, Leo,” I insisted. “I swear. I came back from lunch and found it like this.” But Leo simply sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Audrey… Luna moths are a symbol of peace and prosperity to werewolves. Destroying one, particularly its wings... it’s essentially wishing harm upon all werewolves and the Moon Goddess herself.”

Fearing Fate

Fearing Fate

Tobias shrugs. “Could be. Or maybe they are trying to scare us, and they are playing with us. Who knows.” Tobias says. He turns to me, and I can help but feel defeated. “We have to treat everything as a threat at this point. We don’t know what this means. And what the hell does this symbol at the bottom of the note mean?” I snatch the note out of Tobias’ hand and stare at the symbol. “I dunno. I’ve never seen anything like it.” Tobias slumps back in his chair.

at first I thought this was going to be the same as all the other stories. dumb main characters with a jealous girl who wants what isn't hers. I was wrong. this book was fantastic. I'm so happy I stuck it out and can't wait until the next book is finished to read.
