Rebecca looked confused but didn’t stop her tirade. “Even with a father like Alpha Rick, you’ll never measure up.” Rebecca proclaimed proudly. “You’re trash.” She added and spat on the ground in front of me. Now it was Scott’s turn to look shocked. He removed his arm from around Rebecca and stepped back from her. Scott stepped towards me and reached his hands out, I stepped back and scowled at him. Wow, so I was right to make him believe I wasn’t from a good family. It just made me miss Atlas more, he would never let something like that sway him. She still seemed to have the habit. Walt came closer to the surface as he heard Reece, the Alpha's wolf, behind him. “Don’t end up fighting like last time. Reeve can be very playful and objective but he’s an Alpha now” Scott warned as he took off his clothes, giving Walt control. “Tell Reece that. I’m an Alpha and can be very objective as well. He should be less playful” the troublesome animal, interjected. Reece ran in full speed past Walt making the animal growl in disbelief. If they were having run, wasn’t this cheating!

I asked and she turned her eyes to me, still nursing her cheek. "I.. what incident are you talking about? I know nothing about..." Scott didn't let her finish her statement before landing another slap. That sent her sprawling on the floor, her phone rang just in that instant and everywhere quietened. She tried grabbing her phone but Scott was faster, he looked at the caller and scoffed before showing it to me. It was there in bold letters 'ALPHA JAX' Scott answered the call placing it on speaker. "Mission successful, we got the kids" His voice echoed in the room. I saw red at that instant snatching the phone from Scott and ending the call.

“But I’m still looking forward to kicking your ass.” “Confident much?” “Always. Come on, show me what you got.” We move onto the mats. The warm-up is easy enough, though I can already feel muscles I forgot existed protesting. The warriors definitely notice. One of them, Marcus, smirks at me as I stretch. “Careful, Alpha.” He calls out to Scott. “Don’t break the pretty doctor. We still need her.” My cheeks heat immediately. Scott just grins, tossing him a look.
