Adam remains glaring at the man and does not move his eyes even when the meeting concludes. All the Alpha's agreed to back our pack up if there was to be a war, although a few took a while to convince. Scott's eyes have not left me the entire meeting. Alex dismisses the remaining Alpha's until it is only Alex, Adam, Scott, and myself in the room. Alex glares daggers at Scott and he smirks, "You can't touch me, Alpha."

She still seemed to have the habit. Walt came closer to the surface as he heard Reece, the Alpha's wolf, behind him. “Don’t end up fighting like last time. Reeve can be very playful and objective but he’s an Alpha now” Scott warned as he took off his clothes, giving Walt control. “Tell Reece that. I’m an Alpha and can be very objective as well. He should be less playful” the troublesome animal, interjected. Reece ran in full speed past Walt making the animal growl in disbelief. If they were having run, wasn’t this cheating!

“But I’m still looking forward to kicking your ass.” “Confident much?” “Always. Come on, show me what you got.” We move onto the mats. The warm-up is easy enough, though I can already feel muscles I forgot existed protesting. The warriors definitely notice. One of them, Marcus, smirks at me as I stretch. “Careful, Alpha.” He calls out to Scott. “Don’t break the pretty doctor. We still need her.” My cheeks heat immediately. Scott just grins, tossing him a look.

“I am an Alpha, and I always will be. You'll be nothing by a low-ranking wolf who had to hurt innocent people to get to your level.” Scott smirked with pride. He thought that he was younger and stronger than Tyler, and had been training all his life in case a moment like this arose. He was determined to take down Tyler, though, as it would boost his rank too. He would be remembered as a Beta that killed an Alpha, which hardly happened.

Something that was a necessity as I was holding the this year’s alpha meeting. “Good morning Alpha Mykel, how are you on this fine morning?” Elder Bruce was the only member I knew, he and my father had been close. Before Bruce became an elder, he was the Alpha to an allied pack of ours. His son Dante took over the pack when he turned twenty-one and would be arriving later.

That was never a good sign. "What?" Allen asked, raising an eyebrow. "The run is two days away. Are you excited?" Ohm asked. Ohm had found his mate at the mating run four years ago with another Alpha named Jessica. It was unusual for two Alphas to get together because usually their personalities wouldn't clique and they would fight for dominance. However, the two seemed to go together perfectly. Kara had found her mate in a boy named Simon three years ago, who was a beta.

Innocents who are forced to participate in a war so wolf up Alpha. He grumbles at me before laying down and blocking our link. He knows our pack did the right thing, but the danger still remains. The teens could be spies. I groan while looking at the housing plans. At least our mate will be on pack grounds for the foreseeable future. I give Scott a call myself two days later.
