Scott Becomes An Alpha Novels & Stories

Bhekizizwe thought that with the turbulence of the Forest Run Clan under Henry Reacher, any pup who had alpha tendencies would probably have been killed; there was a way to bind an alpha if they were young enough. Scott and Fern’s mother had died when they were still young, so there was no way to know for certain, but most of them assumed that she had realized Scott was an alpha and had bound him to avoid Henry finding out and killing him. Whatever the reason, Bhekizizwe, the Council, and Malcom agreed that Scott was the perfect candidate for the role of the Forest Run alpha.

He asks this time, our gaze moving in his direction. Xander had an expressionless face this time, his attention on Scott, who for the first time appeared scared in front of his Alpha. “Alpha, you have to believe us, this is a planned scheme to defame your mate and me for what we did not do.” “Oh shut up! How dare you speak to your Alpha in that manner, after being caught red-handed you still dare to sprout rubbish.” Alice yelled at Scott, This was the opportunity she had been waiting for, I guess since she never liked me.

Moving with the unnatural speed of an elite Alpha warrior, the scout lunged across the distance, his blade tracing a lethal arc through the air, aimed directly at her shoulder to incapacitate her. Miles away, at the jagged precipice of Blacktooth Pass, the soul-tether broke. Alpha King Marcus Vance halted mid-stride at the head of his heavy vanguard. The wind tore at his heavy fur cloak, but inside his chest, his wolf roared in a state of bloodthirsty hysteria. The masking illusion of Elena’s exhaustion evaporated in a single millisecond, replaced by the visceral, agonizing taste of her terror, her pain, and the foreign scent of silver magic invading his territory.

she said, wearing a wide grin on her face. “How am I supposed to join in your happiness if I don’t know what good news you’ve received. Please do share,” I asked impatiently. “Our alpha, Scott Ragen, has attained victory. His mission against the Red fanged park was successful. And that’s why we’re all celebrating his victory,” she concluded and started to dance out of joy. Her mood had brightened but mine had darkened.

I just kissed the back of my mate’s head in response. “This is Alpha Theo, Luna Brynn, Beta Jackson, my mate Maya, and Luna Brynn’s mother Tris. Alpha Jacob had plotted with others to have Luna Brynn and Beta Jackson abducted and tortured. I was sent to their pack from mine since I had the most knowledge of Scarsdale. Long story short, Alpha Jacob was arrested, and Scott will step up into the Alpha role.” He paused to give her a moment to digest what he was saying but also to prepare himself for sharing the truth. He looked at Maya briefly before turning his attention back to Thalia.

“I’m going to kill that trash of an alpha king.” “You!” My father points at me. “Stop it, beta,” the alpha says. “He’s right. What Vishal is saying is right. I’m weak. I’m not strong enough to protect her. You were here when he fiercely took her, in my presence. I don’t even try to put up a fight with him. I don’t deserve to be called an alpha. My son, Scott, will take over as the leader of his people. I’m too ashamed of myself.”

Only vulnerability. That was the moment I’d known. She wasn’t just an Omega. She was mine. And now, the thought of losing her forever made my chest tighten in a way I couldn’t explain... couldn’t admit, even to myself. "Alpha?" Scott’s voice dragged me back to the present. I released him with a shove, disgusted—not at him, but at myself. "Get out," I barked. For a moment, he just stood there, his gaze locked on mine. Then, slowly, he bowed his head. "Yes, Alpha." He turned to leave, but paused at the door. "Just… think about what you’re asking of us."

A slow, knowing smile spread across his lips. “You were claimed,” he murmured, tilting his head as if seeing me in a new light. “By an Alpha.” An Alpha I've read about those before they were the leaders of a pack. “So you're a werewolf?” I threw back at him wondering just how many werewolves were hidden in plain sight. Elias exhaled through his nose, amusement flashing in his sharp eyes. “No.” My lips formed a small ‘o’ maybe he was like me, someone who's life been threa-

Scott interjected, his tone firm but calm. “I thought you were on my side?” Scott chuckled lightly, a rare display of humor from someone usually so composed and silent. “I’m always on your side, Alpha, but part of my duty is to keep you grounded. This isn’t a battle where brute strength wins; it’s a negotiation, and respect is the strongest weapon you have. FireHeart packs are known for their strength and resilience. The fact that they have a female Alpha now only speaks volumes of her capabilities. We have to be careful.”

A name echoes from the depths, not my own, a title spoken in whispers and screams by a thousand voices: The World-Ender. And beneath the title, a single, coherent memory slams into me with the force of a freight train. I’m standing over the ruins of a different city, a different Instance, my hands dripping with something that isn’t blood, looking at a man with familiar, wary eyes. Liam Reed. He’s saying my name—my real name—and his voice is the only anchor in a world coming apart. The memory vanishes as quickly as it came, leaving me gasping on my knees in the white nothingness. But it left something behind. A scent. Not ozone, but something wilder. Pine and frost and furious, untamed power.
