The Missing Sixth

The Missing Sixth

After our engagement, the six of us friends agreed to take one last trip together before the wedding. That night, my friend Anders Greer suggested we play a "24-Hour Couple Swap." Anyone who drew matching symbols had to act like a couple for the next twenty-four hours. Whoever drew a blank card could only take pictures and carry everyone's bags. In the first round, I drew a blank. My fiancee, Brielle Rice, and Anders both drew moons. They held hands while watching the sunrise, while I followed behind carrying three people's bags. In the second round, I drew another blank. They both drew roses. Their penalty was to hug for one minute. Everyone crowded around, cheering them on, while I sto

I Was Framed For A Murder I Didn't Commit

I Was Framed For A Murder I Didn't Commit

They had just forced open the emergency maintenance override of the upper hoist cage, descending into the dark like a swarm of starving locusts. "They're moving through the mid-level staging dock!" Leo reported, his teeth clicking violently as he monitored the digital readout. He was shivering so hard his fingers nearly slipped on the ice-covered edge of his interface pad. "Vivian, it's not a generic cleanup squad. The biometric scanners are picking up high-impact cybernetic augmentations. It's the rest of Uncle Marcus’s inner shadow-guard. They aren't here to negotiate; they have a hardwired demolition sequence active on their command transponders!"

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

On the terminal behind us, the black icon of the Watchers flared one last time, and a single, new line of text scrolled across the screen. [ANOMALY IDENTIFIED: THE RECYCLED MOTHER] [STATUS: MEMORY RESTORED] [DIRECTIVE: INITIATE TERMINATION OF THE OBSOLETE MODEL] The floorboards beneath Leo suddenly turned to liquid mercury, a silver vortex opening to pull him back into the dark.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

A siren, low and rhythmic, began to pulse through the floorboards. "Intruder Alert. Maintenance Override Terminated. Biometric purge initiated in sixty seconds." "We have to go, Elara!" Julian grabbed my hand, pulling me toward the central vault. "The stabilizer is in the center pod. If we don't get it now, Victor will vent the oxygen in this entire level." But as we reached the vault, a screen on the wall flickered to life. It wasn't Victor’s face. It was Isabella Thorne, sitting in the back of a black SUV in a rain-slicked Lagos street.

This is such an interesting book, and the characters are really good. Jane is that one friend anybody should have, and then Elara who was called barren was finally going to be having her baby. It's a pity her husband had to cheat on her with her step sister. Overall the story is really good.

Honestly I love that she had a friend like Jane, I love her personality. I love how I could feel every emotion you tried to put into words and everything played like a movie in my thoughts. This is such a good read. Kudos dear author...️

Feral on the Ice

Feral on the Ice

The hospital room was no longer a sanctuary of white linens and sterile silence; it had become the Zero-Point of a biological invasion. As the "Real" Elara sat upright, her spine popping with the rhythmic crackle of a reconfiguring skeleton, the golden light in her eyes spilled out like liquid mercury. She wasn't just a girl waking from a coma; she was a Living Server, a biological vessel hosting the condensed essence of the Primal Six.

BLACKTHORN OVERRIDE: NULL. He froze. “Someone stripped my master key.” Isolde’s throat was dry. “That’s not possible.” “It is,” he muttered, “if they knew the old Velvet. The system before me. The one I never got to wipe.” Then the text changed again. WRENLEIGH / ISOLDE – UNREGISTERED ENTRY. KNOWN ASSOCIATES: VIVIENNE WRENLEIGH. STATUS: VIABLE ASSET / UNSTABLE VARIABLE. The Full Moon Murders

The Full Moon Murders

No orders — just motion. “Where did you find that tag?” Evelyn asked. Rhea sat beside her, the firelight flickering across her scarred cheek. “I didn’t,” she said. “You did. That’s why we came.” Evelyn frowned. “What are you talking about?” “You screamed. Three days ago, from somewhere near Hollowmere. Like your bones remembered something your mind doesn’t. That kind of scream carries.” She looked over at Evelyn, steady and unblinking. “We’ve been tracking the ones they called ‘control-class.’ You were E-113. S-019 was the one they couldn’t contain.”
