The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Of course, when God closes one door, He always opens a window. Scott had been frighteningly smart since childhood. He read obsessively, and books forged an even stronger mind within him. If others refused to treat him like a human being, then he would commit to that reality completely. Then, the apocalypse arrived. And suddenly, it was his arena. After the outbreak, he slaughtered his parents and his grandparents, then recruited the security forces from both families and built the formidable Tomorrow Base.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Shadow Pact

Shadow Pact

Humans may not be as powerful as the immortals, but their sheer numbers would be impossible to defeat. "We're asking you to begin collecting your own army. Track Lycaon and clean up the messes he's bound to make. Dwindle his numbers until you're confident you can defeat him. Then bind him with silver and bring him to us. He draws most of his power from the wolves bound to him, so each kill will weaken him," said the balding vampire. "We agree to provide you with all the resources you need," the strawberry-blonde added. "Right now, most of the loyal guards have been dispatched in similar missions," she said, nodding slightly at Empusa, then Sekhmet, indicating the two former guards now standi

Short Scary Stories

Short Scary Stories

One of the most famous ghosts in the southern states of the USA is "Soap Sally". In the 1950s, there was an old lady soap-maker who walked the streets of the mill villages kidnapping children and murdering them to use the fat in their bodies to make soap. There were numerous reports of people having seen her for years after her death. Every time a child went missing, Soap Sally could be seen wandering the streets, carrying her knapsack full of soap. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon.

The Phantom Reaper

The Phantom Reaper

From Tessa’s Perspective: I spent a week acting like a totally creepy stalker. I guess that’s kind of how I usually act in a way except, usually I’m doing it for work. This time, I’m doing it out of pure curiosity for another person. Damien. I’ve spied on him a few times from afar like a creep just watching his daily rituals. I’ve been practically ignoring all job requests, only visiting the bulletin board once this week whereas I usually take a job every two to three days. I looked as far back into his background as I could but it’s as if he didn’t exist before he started his business. There’s no family information, no childhood, no past jobs, nothing. I guess society doesn’t give two shits

The Scars Time Cannot Heal

The Scars Time Cannot Heal

Devin's face turned deathly pale, and his voice trembled with sheer disbelief. "What do you mean by that?" Seeing his eyes lock on the battered tin in her hands, Vanessa let out a mocking laugh. "Exactly what's on your mind right now. "You spent the whole day throwing a fit, demanding to see Shirley, right? Now that I've brought her to you, why don't you have the courage to open the tin and see it for yourselves?" Scott pressed a hand to his chest and stared at my memorial portrait blankly. "No, this can't be real. You must be lying to me."

Scorched Apocalypse: Abandoned for a Bottle of Water

That was also the reason why I only learned that Sasha had been abused for a long time when Leo finally found her at the base camp. Jasper had told me that he had sent her to the cryonics program to be preserved, but his real plan was to sell her off somewhere before we returned to the base camp. Luckily, Leo had arrived in time and managed to save her. Now, everything was finally moving forward in a positive direction. … Through Leo's and my persistent efforts in leading the team to search high and low within the former forests for clues, we finally managed to find the main source of the water contamination.

Protecting Scarlett

Protecting Scarlett

Of everyone's end. **************************** "Father, where are we going?" Scarlett asked her father quietly, as soon as she saw her pink travel bag outside the mansion. "We are just going on a little business trip, my little honey." Lovato smiled at his only daughter. "Business trip? Are we going to Europe to meet Mummy?!" Scarlett's face lit up a bit at the word 'business and also meeting her mother', since that meant adventure, fun and her age specifically valued adventures and fun. Lovato had performed a hypnosis on her to make her forget that traumatic experience… Even if it was for a while, Lovato would do anything to keep Scarlett's sanity intact.

Tristan froze for a moment, and I took the chance to yank my hand free. "Trying to play hard to get?" He scoffed. "Don't come crying when this blows up in your face. I'm not playing along." "You don't have to worry about that." I rubbed my reddened wrist, then turned to leave. "What do you mean? What's wrong with you? If you wanna break up, just say it!" He grabbed my arm from behind, his expression livid.
