I was still confused , staring at the scribbled writing ,when I see a newly crumbled paper rolling on the floor. Surprised I look up to see something move under a table. Moving closer,I move the torch in that direction and the paper drops from my hand. She was there, sitting under the table. With her knees pressed to her chest and a notepad in her hands. Scribbling something on the paper,she looked oblivious to my presence. "Vivian?" This time,she stopped. She looked up at me and my breath got knocked out of my chest She looked so fuck*** beautiful.

"Well then open the envelope, I am hungry." I opened the envelope and I saw two tickets and a note. "This is a ticket to classic vintage." I gave them to Aaron before I opened the note, I am even more curious as to who sent this.

I walked towards the dim light in the distance, hoping that it would be better than being out here, alone in the darkness. It was a bar. By the time I pushed open the creaky door to the bar, my head was spinning. The stale scent of beer and sweat hit me as soon as I walked in. A few pairs of eyes turned toward me, but I didn’t care. All I wanted was to drown everything that had happened… Nathan, Coral, the betrayal… to drown it all in something strong enough to numb the pain. I made my way to the bar, leaning heavily against the counter.

Her light green eyes were reflecting the peeking rays of the moon. Agnes was disheveled from flailing around, her red, flaming hair was scattered on the white pillow. Her sleeping dress was creased and was slightly crooked, revealing her white, creamy-like texture shoulder blades. Something glinted in his eyes before he leaned down to bite it. Agnes, feeling the pain, groaned. Without even looking at it, she knew it was bleeding. He bites really hard, it made her worry about him getting a chunk of meat from her.

Scarlet’s eyes widened with excitement. “And there’s also the online version, which I’ve typed out in a way that makes it look like you did the work,” he adds with a tease. “But in return for that… I want trifold of what you offered.” She swallows. “I…” “The assignment is due in a few hours, Shayle, or shall I say, Scarlet.” She shudders as she stands before him, looking small under his tallness. She steps back before nodding anxiously.

The smell of rotting and decay is strong, and I pull my ponytail over my face, using it as a mask. “Is this a nest?” I whisper, looking at the pushed-down patches of weeds. It reminds me a bit of a deer bed but smells like the inside of a dumpster…just like the scrapper demons. “Scrappers don’t nest.” I shift my gaze to Binx, knowing he’s thinking the same. Suddenly, two more scrappers rush at us. Binx takes one, wrestling it to the ground. “See if you can find out what’s making them so strong!” I yell as I jump away from the big scrapper coming after me. There’s blood on its face, shining from the light of the energy ball above us.

I feel the cogs of my brain turning. “We need to make use of this opportunity, Bridget. Maybe we could drop a hint or two here or there in some comment sections? Maybe even post some more dresses!” Bridget holds her hand in the air immediately, “Now calm down, Miss. You’re not meant to be thinking of the brand right now. You should be recovering.” I shake my head, “I feel like a thousand bucks right now. Freshly minted notes for that matter.” Bridget rolls her eyes and gives me no response, but hey, if we didn’t get the Moon’s Tears fabric, then we should at least get this out of all that’s happened, right?
