Ezekiel breathed out as he pulled the second fragment of the Sword of the Doombringer from the current owner. He pulled his sword and smiled at the level of destruction he had caused in this world. The Scythe of Death vibrated in his grip, but the power continued to flow smoothly as if Ezekiel's level of darkness was slowly catching up with the darkness that powered the Scythe.

Frustration mounted in him as he tried to find a clue. *** Neil Titus, a demon, and the director of the Shadow Crawlers, sat with a grim look as his dark eyes scanned the reports. His thick brown hair was combed back, and his posture radiated concern. With a loud sigh, he got up and smoothed the tailored suit.

“Dominic! Snap out of it!” Anubis: He can’t hear you. His body is mines now. My wolf was very quick with it. I had hoped for Seth to dodge it, but he failed. My wolf rammed into Seth, causing a bone to snap within Seth. Seth whimpered as he dropped to the ground. He immediately shifted back into his human form and once he did, he gripped the side of his rib and flinched from the pain my wolf inflicted onto him. My wolf walked up to him and before he could do anything drastic to Seth, Dante ran up and bit Anubis, which inflicted pain onto me. Anubis shifted his attention to Kai and they instantly began fighting. Anubis was trying to bite him, but Kai was just as quick as Anubis. He dodged him

But once the beast in him had awoken, he turned different. And it scared the shit out of her. She'd be sure to stay clear from poking his wrong buttons. To avoid gazing into those terrifying red orbs. A month ago she'd lived freely and done things according to the way she saw fit, two weeks ago, she worked at a mind blowing research lab with her heroine, everything seemed to be going perfectly, until she came face to face with the sinfully sexy and deadly Lucas Forsythe. Maybe this was the reason Anne locked him up. Maybe she knew the threats he posed to the entire human race.

Various theories have the library being built there by aliens, by a civilization ten thousand years old, or by a race of vampires. Caitlin let the book fall from her lap, her mouth open in shock, and it landed with a thump on the floor. She sat straight up, feeling a jolt. She suddenly felt wide awake, as if she had just lost all sense of time and place. She picked the book up again, her throat dry, and read the words again and again, desperately, like a castaway starving for water.

Lisa ask. I look down at the book in her hand, then back to her. "I have to take care of some paperwork, maybe next time." "Okay." She says sitting her phone back onto the table. I head back to the office and continue to read over the old scrolls about the vampire prince Samuel. After about an hour pass, I hear the sound of a car pulling into the driveway of the house, knowing it must be Tilda. I leave out of the office, heading to the front door.

My black scythe slid out of the pocket dimension, the ebony handle fitting perfectly in my palm. The curved blade gleamed, ancient runes pulsing in shades of violet. The leader looked at the scythe. Then at me. “That is… a scythe of death…”

I stared at her for a long moment, speechless. Slowly, my thoughts cleared. The suffocating weight in my chest lifted bit by bit. My gaze steadied, and in my peripheral vision, I caught sight of the brilliant sunset burning across the sky. I wasn't going to die. Even if I disappeared, they wouldn't grieve. The only ones who would truly be hurt were the few who actually cared about me.
