The Consuming Heart

The Consuming Heart

Hannah said. “Nah, you don’t worry.” “As I am sorry I couldn’t come with you either, Your Grace,” the Chief priest said. “I fear your mother’s act of death.” “It’s fine,” Susan said. “I’ll face her alone.” And with that, Susan vanished. The blood sea wasn’t like any normal sea. It was an actual body of water made up of blood, but hidden to the human eyes. Dark clouds settled over it, and Susan, with a blazing light around her, sped towards the sea.

Beneath The Sea

Beneath The Sea

At first, I only saw a faint light, but as I get closer I realized that it was the kingdom where Amansinaya reigns. I looked at it, there was a floating sign made up of ice above the kingdom. Written on it was ‘Kingdom Bantay Tubig’. According to our Filipino teacher, Kingdom Bantay Tubig was previously reigned by Kataws, they look like mermaids but they have higher ranks. They can control the waves, tides et cetera. However, after a few years Amansinaya, the goddess of the sea figured out that they’re using their powers for evil. So then, Amansinaya punished them.

The Protégé

The Protégé

After all, it was truly a cave. It was like the cave of a sauna. "What about the remaining three secret dimensions?" Yang Xiao asked. "As for the remaining three pocket dimensions, the third is the Demon Sea," Master Yi said seriously. "Demon Sea?" Yang Xiao was astonished. He had never heard of this name before. "The Demon Sea sounds very powerful. It's very mysterious and illusory. Although it doesn't seem to be real, it's actually also very mysterious. Reportedly, as long as a ship arrives at the Demon Sea, all of the compasses and compasses will lose their ability to function. Thus, they will lose themselves in this region of sea and ultimately sink into it. The magnetic field there is e

Well no matter how good ML in combat skills, medicine skills etc but once he cheats on his wife, gonna drop this story. Why author makes other women shamelessly wanna grab other woman's husband? Ridiculous. I never support stories with unfaithful ML!

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

"I am binding our hearts to the salt. As long as we are on the water: the mountain will listen to the waves. We are not leaving her: we are just stretching the bond." I felt a surge of warmth through the pack link as Maya’s ritual took hold. It felt as if a thin: silver thread was being pulled from my chest and anchored into the sea floor. It was a Sea Binding: a spiritual insurance policy that ensured we would not be hollowed out by the distance from our sanctuary.

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

Almost had to admit myself to the infirmary which would have been a lovely addition to my day. Sea spirit is a type of seaweed also known as bladderwrack, and it is highly poisonous to sirna. For those of us who can morph, contact with it can stop us from morphing and it burns like a fucking bitch. If ingested or exposed to large amounts of it, it will kill you slowly and painfully. Learned that the hard way. I remember going for a swim with my parents as a child and being a kid, I did kid things. I found some seaweed and was going to throw it at my father as a joke, but the moment I grabbed it I remember screaming because my hand felt as though I’d dipped it in sulfuric acid. I’ve never see

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

Your flesh, blood, and spirit will make the best sacrificial contribution," Suelyn screeched. Wilbur shrugged. "Cool. Thanks for the compliment." "Welcome your death with an open heart and return to the arms of the Blood God. Sea of Blood!" As Suelyn howled the words, a bloody barrier arose around the canyon that formed the Sea of Blood's territory. It was similar to Jeremy's from last time, but much more powerful. Wilbur and the rest almost instantly felt the air around them grow dense as if they were wading in a thick puddle of viscous blood.

The Moon Sets over a Sea of Hate

The Moon Sets over a Sea of Hate

The eighth time I caught Oscar Stanton in a hotel suite, he silently picked up the fruit knife from the nightstand and slashed his wrist eleven times. “Satisfied now?” Blood ran between his fingers and dripped onto the carpet. He looked at me as though I were a madwoman who had driven him to kill himself. I stood frozen, the toy gun still clenched in my hand. For a moment, everything felt strangely unreal. After all, the last time things had gotten this bad, I had kicked his mistress into a crocodile enclosure and demanded that he never see her again. In retaliation, he had buried my mother’s ashes beneath a public restroom. He laughed and said, In retaliation, he had buried my mother

A touch of sin

I imagined all the sounds he’ll make while I fucked him. Damian chuckled, scraping his teeth against the tender spot on my neck. “What’s your safe word?” Safe word. We needed a safe word. Fuck. What was he going to do to me? “I can choose for you, if you don’t mind,” he offered, laying open-mouth kisses on my skin. I nodded. “Something simple. Silver. The colour of your jewellery,” he whispered, giving me a kiss on my shoulder. I clenched my eyes shut, repeating those words in my head. It shouldn’t be too hard to remember.

IN THE NAME OF SIN

IN THE NAME OF SIN

I knew for a fact that none of those prayers would reach heaven. Then the service started. Father John began slowly, his voice deep, infuriating, and commanding, filling every ear and heart. At first, I believed I could survive it. Maybe if I didn’t listen, maybe if I did not look at him, maybe if I zoned out, I would be fine. Maybe I could actually endure. And then he began. “Sin.” I gulped. “Begins as a small seed, unseen, almost harmless. But if you ignore it? It would destroy your soul.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

But as they crossed the final ridge of the Frost-Spine mountains, the landscape changed from the grey of ash to a blinding, crystalline white. They had reached the Sea of Salt. This was a dead zone—a five-hundred-mile expanse of salt-flats where the sun reflected off the ground with such intensity that it could sear the retinas of anyone caught without protective quartz-tinted goggles. In the old world, it was the "Great Barrier" that kept the North and South apart. Now, it was the first true test of the mobile city.
