It sat high up on a cliffside that rose high above the sea, the crashing waves thundered against the rock and the pounding of the waves spoke of death from its depths. There was no snow on the ground, the north was the only one to still be affected by the snow, and only a cold wind whipped across the land. Adelaides hair whipped across her face as they stood on the beach. Adam shifted on his feet beside her and she felt his nervousness as his eyes darted around his surroundings. The cold air bit into her skin and spray from the sea hit her in a refreshing wash. It would have been peaceful if it didn’t hold a sinister tinge to the air.

Tossing my shirt onto the lounger, I all but tripped over my flip flops trying to follow her. ***Sarah POV*** The sand was warm between my toes as I ran towards the water. I’d never been to the beach before and seeing the ocean up this close was something I had always wanted. I stopped at the edge of the water, letting the waves splash up over my toes. Then his jaw tightened. Good. I turned away deliberately and followed Vivienne to claim two loungers under a palm tree. "Avoiding someone?" Vivienne asked innocently, settling onto her chair. "Many someones," I replied. She laughed and handed me a drink—something tropical and strong that tasted like pineapple and regret. The afternoon dissolved into warmth and laughter. I swam in the ocean, the sheer dress clinging to my skin before I finally stripped it off to reveal the bikini underneath. I played cards with people from accounting. I ate fresh shrimp and drank cocktails that were far too strong for midday consumption.

I along with Aria, Clarren, Oslec, and our guide Sirene dive into the depths of the sea and set our journey to reclaim Aria's second wing. It was a whole new world under the sea like a paradise that is unknown to man. There are so many different creatures that you can only see from books and discovery channels and I can tell that everyone is having the best time of their time lurking around while appreciating the wonders of the sea. Then Kara lifts her head off my shoulder and turns to me. “Do you want to take a walk?” she asks, eyes gleaming like they hold the same secrets the sea does. I nod. “Yeah,” I say, voice rough. “I really do.”

The salty sea breeze swept through the streets of Seaview, carrying with it the promise of another beautiful day along the coast. Emily stood outside her seaside café, surveying the damage left behind by the storm that had battered the town the night before. The wooden sign above the entrance creaked in the wind, its paint chipped and faded, a testament to the café's long history.
