Searching Book Novels & Stories

I dashed out of the room to meet Jada who was waiting at the library. As I got there, there were already several books thrown around the tables. She climbed the ladder and was on the fifth shelf, searching relentlessly for something. “I can't find it.” She turned towards me, cleaning the beads of sweat from her forehead. “The book of seers, it should be here somewhere.” I moved to the other shelves, trying to find the book as well. All that I saw were books about martial arts and elemental control. “Here it is.” Jada breathed heavily and climbed down the ladder with a heavy-looking book in her hand.

After completing the task, I pour myself another drink and head to the library to gather all the books that discuss prophecies. As I walk through the shelves of the library, I can feel the weight of the books in my hands. I scan the titles, searching for any that might hold the answers I seek. My eyes land on a thick, leather-bound tome with the word "Prophecies" etched in gold on the cover. I pull it from the shelf and flip through the pages, my heart racing with anticipation. As I read through the ancient texts, I begin to piece together the clues that will help me unravel the mystery of the prophecy. The whole place looks untidy and scattered with books all over. "We have been searching everywhere for the books of shadows, why haven't we found it yet," Jack scratched his head and rubbed his head while thinking of something. "Maybe we need to search harder we will definitely find it, we can't stop now," Melissa said and continued her search, she lifts up the boxes and falls out all the books in it and starts searching it thoroughly again. "I never said we should stop Melissa, but we have been searching for this book for days now and still haven't found it," Jack said and stands up and walks across the scattered books, walking to where Melissa was standing.

She muttered to herself as stood up to her Mom's table and searched the stack of books on it. When she still didn't get what she wanted, she stood akimbo for a while and looked around. "No! There must be at least one book, right?" She asked no one in particular and dived into searching for a book again, she crouched once more before the drawer and took her time to search, carefully taking out the books one by one and making sure to leave no corner unturned. She saw an old big book, it looked very ancient with chopped off pages, she chuckled at the looks of the book and was about to keep it when something caught her attention.

Now my search for answers have finally began, I looked at the shelf and I don't even know where to start from or what book to start with. I think I should start with the first row on the top right shelf, I know this is going to take a lot of time and I'm sure I may not even get my answers all in one day but I am happy for the first step I took. I have searched over five books now but i haven't found anything close to what I need, I went over to get more books but it seems like they don't have the information I need but I am not giving up my search. Time has long gone but I will be here tomorrow to continue from wherever I stopped.

I muttered. "Check there let me check here. We have to find something that can help" I said and started the search the several shelves that I knew that we couldn't finish but still had hope. We pushed everything out of or mind and started to look for a book sincerely. "Have you found anything?" I asked Ashley after about 30 minutes. "No! I can't even see anything that is soul related" She muttered and continued to search hoping to find it. I don't know how long we searched and just when we were about to give up, I saw a red book which lay about the stacks of books and just like others this book was also Dusty.

MIA It took Magma and I five hours to search through the entire room from top to bottom, looking for the book. We found necklaces, diaries, and brooches. Everything apart from the boom. At some point, we took a break so we could refresh ourselves but we still couldn't find it. Magma was the only one who even knew what the book looked like so I was basically a blind man in all this. It didn't feel like I knew what I was doing.

It’s easier to maintain my sanity because the moment I no longer find it at that exact place, then someone must have found it. I run to the computer and input my student ID code. I type the name of the book, this is the fastest way to find out if the book is in shock and still remains in same position. Loading…. Loading…. Loading…. Jeez, be quick! “He will freak out.” “He won’t,” I said. “And, besides, there is nothing to find out about.” “Did he find something about Claudia?” she asked me. I shook my head. “Nothing yet. He will let me know if he does.” She nodded and went back to reading her book. I closed the book I was reading and walked over to the shelves. I looked around to find a book that could help me. After a few minutes of searching, I saw a small black book shoved between the two larger ones. It almost looked hidden. I took it out and read the title.
