The thump of my boots echoes in the empty store as I drop down from the window sill, landing in a crouch. The other two soldiers climb into the store after me, and they quickly draw their guns and spread out, trying to make this place as secure as possible. Aaron nudges me in one direction, and I quickly grab two red handheld baskets from a stack near the window, before following him down a nearby aisle. Like many stores in such a large city, there isn't much left in any one place. A lot of the remaining merchandise is scattered around the floor or turned on its side on its shelf, having been overlooked during the first couple weeks of the zombie apocalypse.

Blue and grey undead swarmed into the space. Zombie infantry men opened up with Springfields and Whitworths. A couple of enterprising young ghouls busied themselves setting up a Gatling gun. Game on, thought Roo again as he and Fernández opened up on the invaders at the exact same time. J 12:33 before daybreak They were almost out of ammo.

Henry shouted from nearby, "jump back to the house to help. We'll gather up the corpses and do damage control." Shamira nodded, biting her bottom lip as she and Sebastian backed away from each other. She ducked into a dark stairwell and jumped back home. The shell walkers had launched a two-pronged assault, and there was still work to be done. Shamira appeared in Reaper's room, as the lights were off and it was closest to the armory. She activated her headset as she hit the armory. "Shane, I'm back. Where do you need me?"

Double taps. For thirty seconds, the hallway was a meat grinder. Blood painted the white walls red. Finally, the last monster fell, twitching. [The Dead End] Silence returned. Heavy, panting silence. Sebastian leaned against the blood-slicked wall. He was bleeding from a cut on his forehead. Harper checked her ammo. "Two rounds left. We can't do this again." "We won't have to," Sebastian looked at the elevator at the end of the hall. The light was red. [ LOCKEDDOWN ].

"The fight is over. The winner is. SEAN FROM THE BLOOD MOON PACK."
