Oliver came trotting over, clutching his giant Saturn book against his chest, with Grayson following a few paces behind.
"Hey! It's the ball guy!" Oliver gasped, pointing a finger at Sebastian. "Mommy, he's our friend now because we saw him two times!"
"A rather low threshold for friendship," Sebastian noted dryly, though there was no real bite in his voice.
"Did you buy a storybook, Mr. Sebastian?" Grace asked, peering at the thick, unjacketed book in his large, leather-gloved hands.
"I am purchasing a collection of late nineteenth-century essays on European economic policy," Sebastian replied smoothly. "Not quite a storybook, I am afraid."
