"Jealous, sweetheart?" Kia just growls in annoyance instead of responding. He chuckles back at her, shaking his head.

Claire smiled, ready to welcome him, when she froze seeing the man who was walking right next to him. His blazing green eyes looked just as she remembered, full of passion and fire. He was taller than Alpha Devin and his body radiated power and dominance even when he was at the other end of the room. His messy black hair looked as if he had been running his fingers through them one too many times and her hands itched to do just the same. Alpha Sebastian, the man she hadn’t been expecting to see at the party, was walking towards her, looking like he owned the very place.

He could have been considered attractive had it not been for his disgusting behavior and words. "Who are you? And what have you done to my friend?" Kiara's voice was so sharp that even she was amazed. She grasped Lana's still-trembling hand tightly. "Oh, Luna, it turns out we're still not acquainted, huh?" He made small talk and smiled. "Introducing, I am Sebastian. And my brothers, William and Caleb." Kiara's gaze shifted to the other two men, and she swears that she was seeing Sebastian's reflection in two different mirrors. They were not only similar, but like the same person in different fonts. Just a very subtle feature that distinguishes them. Triplets.

Keep the other person seated, off-balance, looking up. "I did some research on you after our encounter last night," Sebastian said, moving to lean against his desk. Casual, relaxed, but his eyes were sharp. "Kai Moretti. Twenty-two years old. Art student at the state university, currently in your senior year. You're talented—I saw the pieces from your last show at the campus gallery. Raw, emotional. You have potential."

Claire I can't help but wonder if he's been looking at Jupiter's social media and seeing the new flurry of likes and comments that have been coming from Adrian. Sebastian doesn't have I*******m himself or any social media platform, claiming that it was under his dad's recommendation to keep a clean reputation for when he applies for university next year. I highly doubt, though university administrators would be able to find any dirt on clean-cut Sebastian; he doesn't drink at parties, opting to stay sober to drive the drunks home safely, he has never touched drugs, rarely swears and maintains a strong grade point average.

“She’s a guest.” Rachel’s gaze slid over Sebastian like she was picking lint off his soul. “So, Sebastian… do you work? Or is folding Ezra’s shirts your full-time job?” Sebastian smiled—warm and sharp. “I’m a licensed child psychologist. But today? I’m just making sure your pups don’t bully mine.” Kiran Naidoo choked on his drink. Priya didn’t even try to hide her grin. The Moreno twins stared at each other like they were waiting for someone to yell “cut.”

His jaw ticked as he pursed his lips. “You wouldn’t know nice if it walked into a room and introduced itself, Killian. Do you have any idea what you could start by trying to attack him? You may think mayor Kepler runs the city, but it’s the rich who do, and Bloodstone owns the damn city. Going to war with him is just asking to damn us all.” Kurt's tone sharp. “I don’t see any issue with asking to double-check his footage. And if he has nothing to hide, then it shouldn’t be a problem.”

Beside her, Colin and Claire, her son and daughter with Adolf, both carefully observing the scene. Adolf leaned slightly toward Sebastian, his tone casual but firm. “I wanted to discuss some business, potential opportunities that might interest you.” Sebastian’s eyes narrowed, his voice crisp and unwavering. “I’m aware of the matter, but I’m not available for discussions tonight.” Claire, watching Sebastian intently, shifted as if to approach, offering a small, deliberate smile. Sebastian’s gaze flicked to her, and before she could step forward, he said smoothly, cutting her off politely, “I’m sorry, but my wife and children are tired. We must be going.”
