He wore a fine suit that wasn't overly flashy.
"Just need some air," Hazel replied, cautious.
"How about trading the air for a conversation that isn't boring?" he offered, extending his hand. "I’m Sebastian. And I think we are two people who are a bit lost in this sea of black suits and business interests tonight."
Hazel, almost by reflex, shook his hand. His grip was warm and strong.
"Hazel," she said, introducing herself.
"A pleasure to meet you, Hazel," Sebastian said. Then, while still holding her hand gently, he added the words that made the world around Hazel seem to stop spinning.
