Second Earth Book Novels & Stories

Or perhaps everything. Her eyelids cracked open to a world that wasn’t the world. Pain still throbbed through her limbs, but it was distant, as if her body had been left behind somewhere, in some cage of failing blood and shattered nerves. She was lying on a strange ground, softer than stone but firmer than soil, and as she pushed herself upright, the sight before her stole the breath she didn’t know she still had.

But that night, beneath a blood moon and a sky split with silence, when grief hollowed my chest and I had nothing left but regret— she came. No words. Just light. A silver glow gathered in her hands and drifted into mine— warm, pulsing, ancient. The Moon’s Time Key. It shimmered with power I couldn’t understand, only feel. The moment my fingers closed around it, the world held its breath. Before dawn, I climbed the mountain trail to the forgotten temple. The old priestess was already waiting. Her eyes—clouded with age and moonlight—looked right through me. “Before you turn the key,” she said,

Nothing else could register in her senses as she took in the planetary explosion - the blue and white planet flaring brightly in silence in space. That was her last vision of Earth before the view from her bay window metamorphed into nothing but a sea of stars... -End of Book One-

To those who are reading, this story will be revised to meet the requirements of the platform's readers. I am looking to revise the storyline to a more "Westernised" and fast paced realistic environment. For those who have been reading before the story was locked, I hope to keep your attention by improving the storyline. Do hit me up in comments if you are looking forward to this! And sorry for the long wait. In the meantime I have updated my new book Scarlet, which also revolves around a Reincarnation storyline but more modern and with Western environment. I hope you like it!! Regards, Writer of the story.

He wants to rip her head off her body right now. Thomas is going to kill Melina the second he finds her. Nobody, absolute nobody, he means no single fucking soul on this motherfucking earth, can ever make a fool of Thomas and live to see another day, but Melina has, and not just once but twice. Melina doesn’t seem to value her life because the moment Thomas finds her, he’ll make her regret meeting him far more than she did before. Thomas will kill her from the inside out. When he’s done with her, Melina will wish she’d never been born. ***

I creased my brows as if it took me some effort to recall. "Oh…" I suddenly gasped in realization, deliberately letting myself trail off before flashing an innocent smile. "So that was you—I'm so sorry, but like you said, it happened twenty years ago. It was so long ago that I've forgotten it. See, as I've accomplished so much important research work day after day, who has time to remember such… trivialities?"

It was the First Fruit. We had faced the architect, the South, the winter, and our own shadows. Now, we had fifteen chapters left to build the world that would outlast us. "Let's go home, Lixie," I said, the amber light of my eyes steady and bright. "I think the twins are waiting for their story." It closed with the Vesper ascending toward the surface, leaving the indigo dark behind for the first real dawn of the new era.

Then the light went out. --- By dawn, we were moving again. The storm had cleared, leaving a sunless expanse of glassy snow that stretched forever. The air was unnaturally still. No wind, no sound—just the faint hum beneath the earth, as if the planet itself was breathing in sync with him. Kira led the way, scanning the horizon. “So, this old city—what’s left of it?” “Ruins of New Vega,” I said. “That’s where we built the second Genesis core before everything fell apart.”

Only the silence of a world that had been perfectly, terrifyingly cleansed. Richard stood up, his legs steady in a way they had never been before. He looked toward the center of the crater. There, cradled in a nest of hardened, silver silk, lay a bundle. It was small, silent, and radiated a warmth that felt like a sunrise. He approached it, his heart pounding in his chest. As he reached out, the bundle shifted. A pair of eyes opened, looking up at him. They were not human. They were universes—swirling nebulae of silver and gold, reflecting a history that hadn't happened yet.

Though I wanted to add more Envian adventures, it wouldn't be fair to do so burned out; that way, I can give more thought to their relationships and the flow of the story. This is a great place to end book one and perhaps take a breather before I start planning for book two. So far, you have met or 'heard of' (ahem) the major leads, and now book two will be centred on: Daisy, Erden, Kassian, Bryant, the demon, a bit of travelling to different continents with Isaac and more of fierce Vivanna, lol, unfortunately, the bumbling and uncertain Vivanna dies in book one and comes back far more villainous in book two.
