The Adventurers Guild categorized their members into four groups. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Obsidian. Bronze being the lowest and the most populated. Obsidian being national adventurers.
To advance in ranks, one needed to gather enough credits. Bronze to Silver was two hundred and fifty credits. Silver to Gold is a thousand credits. Gold to Obsidian is ten thousand credits. To put everything into perspective, a single quest can give around 0.01 to three credits. The idea behind the rankings was to incentivize adventurers to gain experience than to rank up. So when an adventurer got ranked up from Bronze, it became a huge deal.
