Sera Hazbin Hotel Novels & Stories

Which was exactly why my brain felt like it had stopped functioning entirely. “You’re telling me,” I said slowly, staring at Sera like she had personally lost her mind, “that the person the Moon Goddess supposedly chose for me… is Khan Zahir?” Sera looked deeply uncomfortable now, which honestly did not help my growing panic in any way whatsoever. “Yes,” she answered quietly. I laughed. Not because anything was funny, but because my mind genuinely could not process the absurdity of what I had just heard. Mira looked equally horrified beside me while Ael remained completely silent, which somehow made everything feel worse.

Gabe didn't like that Pops used compulsion on a human, but I thought it was amazing. Have I mentioned I really like Pops? He's incredible in more ways than one. "Over here," Pops called. Gabe and I ran back. Sera was huddled against a trash bin, her back against the wall. She was dirty, and her red hair was matted. "Don't be afraid," I said, standing in front of Pops and Gabe. Men weren't what she needed to see at the moment. "Leave me alone!" Sera put out her hand, and Gabe went sailing back into the chain-link fence.

It was changing quickly. ***** Back inside Zelios, Sera finally returned to her room. She couldn't sleep. Again. Instead, she sat at her desk and opened the small notebook she carried on every mission. The pages were filled with observations, patrol routes and sketches of creatures Helios had encountered over the years. Tonight, she added a new heading. Questions- She stared at the page before writing. Why didn't Husen kill me? She paused. Then another. Why were those creatures hunting him?

####### present time ###### Sera looked at the food and she remembered everything that happened the past year . The accident , the disown , the boyfriend and the pain from her rehabilitation . Now she is as good as new just like a doll that got fixed . It was a long painful year but she can now walk and of course eat other food than the hospital's . Although Daniel would usually sneak some food for her but it was also healthy food . She was craving a hamburger or some chicken wings. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. This knock was unique . It was ' knock Bam Bam knock ' . It was a secret knock that she and Daniel came up with. He opened the door but he didn't look happy

When he saw her, his expression shifted from confusion to shock, before finally settling into cold disgust. "Serena Beckett? You've got some nerve showing up here." Serena didn't bother with pleasantries and got straight to the point. "Where's Jason? Hand him over." Mason looked at her like she was insane. "Where's Jason? Are you actually asking me that?" He pointed at the brazier and said, "He's right there, burned to ashes. Want to scoop up a handful and ask him yourself?" "Stop playing games with me!" Serena stepped forward, her eyes locked on him.

She read the name tag: Audrey Mcfeller. "Wait. You work here? At CazoS? What do you do?" "I'm Mr. Schulz's secretary," I admitted, bracing for the inevitable twin connection. Isla’s reaction was delayed, a slow, predatory grin spreading across her face. "You work for Sebastian? That cold-hearted, demanding devil?" She let out a peal of genuinely amused laughter, the sound echoing lightly in the marble lobby. “Oh, that’s rich. He hasn’t fired you yet? You must be a miracle worker. Most of his secretaries last less than a week. And you survived the infamous Cora.”

Every pebble under my shoes sounded like a laugh. The bus ride back to my house was a blur. I sat in the back, huddled against the window, staring at my reflection. I wasn't Seth anymore. I was just Sera. A girl with no school, no future, and a secret that had just burned her world to the ground. By the time I reached the narrow dirt track that led to our small cottage, the moon was high and cold. The lights were on inside.

Finally, the message arrived. “Dear valued customer, hello. Your Succubus is not malfunctioning, nor is he ill. He is simply extremely hungry and needs you. Not food, but you. This includes, but is not limited to, kissing, hugging, and any form of… intimate energy exchange. Wishing you a pleasant experience!” I froze, my fingers shaking. I read the message again. And again. The words, simple and clear, had a weight I couldn't ignore. Hungry. He needed me. Me. Not food in the usual way, but something more than basic, more intimate, more wonderfully scary??

Sera didn't show up. He tried calling her, but the call didn't go through. Enzo felt anxious. He dialed again, but nobody replied. Now or never, or so he thought, until his phone suddenly beeped. Notification from Sera : "I won't be able to make it." Enzo's heart sank. A wave of devastation flooded in. He slumped onto the couch, defeated. Minutes passed, and Enzodozed off. He went into a sorrowful sleep amidst the leftover dinner he had put so much love into preparing.

“Then don’t. But whatever it is, I hope you get your answers. Away from that, how was the burial?” Just before I could respond, a soft sound drifted through the door. Humming. Mara never hummed and left one person. Sera. I had a task for her. I knew of Orion’s plan for Sterling Inc. Sera had a background in finance, and I was curious as to what she could uncover. I was interested in the acquisition, but this was not the way I was supposed to go about it. It was a test of sorts for her. How good was she?
