Emerson POV The words sliced through the murmurs around me. They weren’t the worst ones. “Don’t look at her,” someone whispered urgently, too close to my ear. “Snake-eyes bring bad luck.” Another voice followed, lower, fearful. “That’s why the Alpha hates her. You don’t stare at things like that and survive.” My stomach twisted. Several pack members turned, their glares sharpening. Some looked away quickly, like my eyes might infect them if they lingered too long. One of them bared his fangs and lunged forward, his steps heavy and deliberate.

Can you try to move your fingers again.” I softly speak to Raphael's ear. I see his fingers move again. “My love. Can you see that? This is so amazing. I am so happy.” Serah says. “Serah, come here. I want to say something to you." I say to Serah. I take her hand and I make her sit right beside me.

The big drow yanked on the chain and swung it to the side, sending the blade towards Otheric. The young drow ducked and the blade merely shattered the chimney he was hugging. Without much effort, Nymgos spun the blade around again, keeping Minos and Rei at a length's distance. Seraphina took her teary eyes upward and her soul clenched in extreme amounts of horror by watching that voracious sinner, who had just committed that ruthless sin, taking his predacious step closer to her. In the blink of an eye, the entire devil saber had expanded to more than three or four times its former size, morphing into a perfect-formed, gigantic ancient war saber with a primitive air. The blade was covered with red primitive symbols, as crimson as flowing blood. Its supreme forbidden power had been unleashed again. Ding Hao brandished his saber. The thousands of feet long saber radiance streaked across the void. That dark crimson demonic fog neatly divided into two halves before the saber brilliance, like a sharp blade cutting through tofu.
