She pulled out a folded envelope and thrust it at Serena, clumsily, like it was on fire. Serena took it. Inside: a crayon drawing. Shaky lines. A red carpet. Stick figures with stars over their heads. “I wanted to give it to Miss Sera,” the girl whispered. “But she’s busy. And I thought… maybe you’d like it too.” Something cracked in Serena’s chest. She looked back at the picture. The tallest figure had long hair and a black dress. There was a name written beneath it, in all caps: SEREANA.

Who? "Serena."

With Reynard’s approaching steps, I pushed back and away from him in confusion and fright. "Tell me which one is the true Serena? The one I am looking at now, who cares and is open to showing her emotions, or the one who only likes to follow Daxon’s lead." As he stopped in front of me and explained his question better, I understood he had yet to find out there were more shades to Serena than he could ever expect. For instance, Serena, was in contact with him all this time when she was in her sister’s body. "Oh!" I looked down to take a deep breath.

Serena’s POV The village was abuzz with excitement. The air was filled with the scent of pine and freshly turned earth, mingling with the anticipation that radiated from every villager and warrior alike. Sera heard this and rolled her eyes. “No. people my age are blah! They don’t deserve me. Not all deserve Seraphina,” She said with a snobbish expression. Anika only smiled at this.
