I wanted to know if they died in their previous life just like I did. “But I need to warn the Emperor.” I said. The old scholar continued with his work and he didn’t say anything. He’s staying quiet so I could make a decision on my own. I went back to the books that were written by the Empress of the Taiyou Empire. She went into great detail on the changes that she brought to their Empire like creating the Goldenrod tea which are used for recovery as well as the floating lanterns during their lantern festival. The things she implemented in her kingdom were common things in my world. She must’ve come from the same world as me. I want to talk to her, I want to ask questions.

Yrian said smilingly, “I have an Eight-Star Combat Power. However, it’s because of my identity.” James asked curiously, “What’s your identity?” Yrian smiled and replied, “I’m Yrian Zvecha, but I am also the Zvecha Dragon, the first Divine Dragon to exist before these worlds formed.” ‘Another being that existed way before our worlds? Are there that many mysterious beings hidden in the different corners of our worlds?’ James looked at him in shock.

All of the dragons growled in unison, it was very loud, and the very foundations of the earth shook. As Raisel stared at them, something struck her, how very different she was from Dragomir. Their lives were like two parallel lines. He was a dragon, and not only that he was king of the dragons which means he had responsibilities that had to be fulfilled. He had the stone too which means the dragons were powerful. She was only a human girl now, their adventure had come to an abrupt end. She had to go back to Avalon, to her life there.

I was worried about First Dragon and his children. Soon, he would find out our biggest secret, one we hid from him to save him. I did not know how he would react and what that would entail. My thoughts went to my great granddaughter, Dragana, the Tribrid, who somehow found herself in the center of all this mess, through no fault of her own. So many think that having magic and power is the solution to life’s problems. How wrong they were, I mused to myself.

He grinned. Before anyone could contemplate what was about to happen, a deep roar shook the earth. Sending all of them backwards. Slamming them into trees. A black giant dragon suddenly and slowly emerged from the other side of the forest. Approaching the scene stealthily. Its rough skin was dark as obsidian and long claws which could cut through steel. Its eyes burn brightly like hot coals and an earth shattering roar left its mouth, its razor sharp talons which could tear through anything. The sight of the dragon sent tremors through the men and they retreat carefully.

It’s a flaming bird. A phoenix. **I hope you’ve enjoyed Ancalagon: The Last Pure Dragon. This story will continue in Rise of the Phoenix, Book Six of the Elemental Dragon series.
