APOCER .S
i find blakes and simons resolution foul and unearned, good god ... get good , there's so much potential in it to thoroughly move a person but somehow you just fumble it so horrendously, it'd be one thing if you were just bad overall but you do it so good justoscrew it up to the resolutionbeingearned

This book really tests my patience, it’s like a 4 year old Chinese kid has written this book for Americans. It takes ages for any story to move forward or any twist to unravel itself, any interest in anything is gone by the really really bad dialogues. Interesting premise wasted to make it lengthy

A Decade of Confinement

A Decade of Confinement

In the tenth year of being held captive by Kevin Hemsworth, he lost his memory in a car accident. When he woke up and saw my bloated figure, he frowned in disgust. "Who are you?" Recalling his past threats, I was terrified this was just another test. So I told him the truth that I had been by his side all these years. He laughed sarcastically. "Don't joke around. You're not my type." Laura Powell, my friend who had secretly loved him for ten years, pointed at me and cursed, "Just because you look a little like me, you barged into Kevin's life and became his maid. Fine. But how dare you pretend to be his lover?" As punishment for lying, Laura had me dragged away from Kevin. She broke my hands and slashed my face. Lying on the ground and barely alive, I smiled at Kevin. For the past ten years, he never allowed me to escape, but he wouldn't let me die either. Now, I leaped off a cliff under his cold gaze. He wouldn't have my body even after I died.

Our 99 Breakups Before the Real One

Our 99 Breakups Before the Real One

Alessio Romano and I have grown up together. But so far, we've severed our friendship with each other 99 times over Vittoria Belleandi. The first time occurred because Vittoria tried to kill my puppy out of fear toward dogs. When I was fighting with her over my puppy, I shoved her to the ground. So, Alessio called off our friendship for three whole days. The sixth time occurred when Vittoria wanted to experience the feeling of getting confessed to in public. She wanted Alessio, who was already my boyfriend at that time, to do that to her. When I refused to let Vittoria have her way, Alessio cut off all ties with me for seven days. The 100th time occurs when I take away the management right of the branch company, something that Vittoria has been vying for a long time. But this time, Alessio doesn't cut off all ties with me. Instead, he tells me, "Chiara, I already told you that the Don will only acknowledge Vittoria's capabilities and let her stay as a part of the core family once she secures the management right. But you've ruined everything "Now, I can only register my marriage with Vittoria in order to secure her position! Only then will we proceed to discuss our own marriage!" Then, Alessio snatches the marriage application form from my hands. After witnessing Alessio and Vittoria signing their names together, I no longer throw a tantrum. Instead, I take off my engagement ring and book a flight ticket to another destination. But why is it that Alessio keeps begging me to return to him after I've left?

MARRIED MY BILLIONAIRE EX AFTER HIS FUNERAL

MARRIED MY BILLIONAIRE EX AFTER HIS FUNERAL

I divorced Adrian Cross seven days before he died. I thought his silence meant he never loved me. I was wrong. At his funeral, his grandmother grabs my wrist. "You were the only thing he ever wanted." Then the letters. Dozens of them. Never sent. "I saw you long before you ever knew my name." Debts he paid off in secret. Enemies he destroyed without a word. A photo of me he carried for five years — before we ever met. I mourn a man I never actually knew. Then I find out he didn't die by accident. I go looking for the truth. The truth comes looking for me first. Dying, I only wish for one thing. One more chance to choose him. I open my eyes three years in the past. Same morning. Same contract on the table. Adrian, alive, asking if I'm ready to sign. I know what's coming this time — the danger, the silence, the divorce I'm never going to file again. I'm not walking away from him twice. I'm not losing him twice. This time, I choose Adrian Cross. Before it's too late to tell him so.

Love Disperses With the Wind

Love Disperses With the Wind

My husband's latest lover is a dab hand at making coffee. I'm curious, so I go to her coffee shop to try a cup. When I get home, my husband grips my neck tightly as he warns, "Stay away from her." I'm reminded of how he did the same thing to my betrothed at the time before snatching me away. "Do you like her that much?" I laugh and watch as Ray Prunier loses control. I guess I'll give him what he wants, then.

Another Bride Got My Promised Wedding

Another Bride Got My Promised Wedding

Everyone in Sirano knows that Lorenzo Gallo only likes one type of woman—submissive and docile. I happen to fit those criteria. When we're dating, Lorenzo has gifted me jewelry, villas, and even a harbor. He has also prepared a grand proposal for me. After the proposal, Lorenzo tells me that the Don has ordered him to sire an heir with his widowed sister-in-law, Elena Marino. Only when an heir is produced will the Don acknowledge Lorenzo's wedding with me. Since then, the phrase that he utters to me the most is "just wait for a little longer". I have to wait for Lorenzo throughout all 99 nights of him sleeping with Elena. I need to keep waiting till she gets pregnant once again. Just as I think all the waiting has come to an end, I accidentally overhear a conversation between Lorenzo and his best friend. "Lorenzo, the hospital has confirmed that Elena is pregnant with a boy. This means you must marry Susanna now." "It's impossible for me to be with Elena in this lifetime. But Susanna is very docile, not to mention she loves me with all her heart. She's the best candidate for my marriage." It turns out that the man I thought who loved me deeply had fabricated those feelings just to protect another woman. That night, I no longer drag out Howardson University's invitation, and chose to leave for a ten-year classified medical research program abroad. Lorenzo Gallo, I don't want your misplaced love anymore!

Break the Wait

Break the Wait

On Valentine's Day, my husband, Jason Smith, gets sent to the hospital after getting into a car crash. He's not alone—his naked adopted sister, Susan Lane, is sent there as well. The police officer explains to me, "Your boyfriend got distracted when he was driving, resulting in him crashing into a car that was in the opposite lane." After that, I retrieve the items that have survived the crash. They consist of a diamond ring, a pair of stockings, a pack of condoms, and an agreement. "I, Jason Smith, promise that I will never see Susan Lane ever again!" Three days later, Jason gets discharged from the hospital. He shows up in front of me with a bouquet. "Happy Valentine's Day, honey! Susan thinks these flowers are rather fresh, and that it's a waste to throw them away. I remember you loving flowers the most. You should get them placed in a vase. Don't let them go to waste." I just shake my head as I stare at the bouquet. The flowers are as rotten as my five-year marriage. That's why it's time to throw everything into the bin once and for all.

We Never Met Again

We Never Met Again

The Godfather, Matteo Cross, loved me like I was his whole world. However, he had once cheated on me with a college student. To make it up to me, Matteo pushed aside all family business affairs and stayed by my side for eight straight months, the kind where we were together twenty-four hours a day, never apart for even a second. I thought he had finally changed until last night, when I woke from a nightmare and went looking for my medication. As I passed the study, I heard Matteo speaking softly and affectionately into his phone. “Baby, you’re so tempting… Just hang in there a little longer. Once you give birth to the child, I’ll stay with you.” It took me only three seconds to accept the truth: the man who once swore he loved me was completely gone. With that, I decided then and there to immigrate to Atlantica with my grandfather.

FOUR YEARS RAISING MY INFERTILE HUSBAND'S SECRET FAMILY

FOUR YEARS RAISING MY INFERTILE HUSBAND'S SECRET FAMILY

Everything I built my life on for four years was a lie. Nathan Cole told his grandmother he was infertile. She begged me on her knees to marry him, and because she was the only family I had left after my parents died, I said yes. I gave up my own engagement for her. I became the devoted wife of a man the whole family pitied. For four years, I believed I couldn't have children. I mourned it quietly, never once making him feel less of a man because of it. I raised the little boy he brought home and told me was an orphan, loving him like he was my own. When Nathan's business "collapsed," I worked myself to exhaustion to hold our household together, feeding his family, carrying a debt that was never really mine. None of it was real. Nathan was never infertile. He just never wanted a family with me — so he made sure I never got pregnant, quietly, through the tea he made me every single night. The son I raised wasn't an orphan either. He was Nathan's, from another woman he didn't want to keep. And the money he claimed was gone had been going somewhere else all along — to a whole other family, three children deep, with a woman he actually loved. The infertility, the bankruptcy, the adoption — none of it was about me. It was all just his way of keeping me close without ever giving me the truth. He always believed I had nowhere else to go. No family, no options, just him. He was wrong. By the time he realized what I'd become, I was already gone — and someone who never lied to me was waiting with a ring.
