“Sam,” she adds, sharper now.
“The cameras,” he says immediately, already scanning the hallway, his posture shifting into something alert. “I’m on it.”
I shake my head slowly, unable to look away from the dress. “They’ll be gone. If they were deleted last time, they’ll be gone now.”
