Alfi looks at his surroundings and he feels familiar with the back of the books arranged on the bookshelves he passed. As he is curious, he gets off from ßenlong and approaches one bookshelf in front of him. He then takes a book with red back. And his prejudice is right. “I... It’s...” He is shivering by looking at the cover of the book.

The book is a mini short novel with just 70 chapters but yeah, it was worth reading. Soon, A song titled only love By Jordan Smith Started playing. How many more are we gonna take? How many nights do we have to lie awake? How many tears are we gonna cry? We can wish until the well runs dry?

Right after posting it, while I was still reading comments mocking me for putting on a tough front, I saw Immortal Ashes Team’s official account tag me in a post, openly standing by my side. When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

SARA POV (YEAR 2077, 56 YRS LATER) "Now he is a fine chunk of meat. I can see why all the girls want him," the older waitress says as she appears next to me. I quickly close my worn book. My cheeks tint a little, and I give her a small smile. "I still can't believe they are real even though my friend's granddaughter is mated to one of them," she says while refilling my mug with fresh coffee.

The guard studied me for a long moment. Then he reached for his radio. I stood at those gates and I did not fidget and I did not look away and my wolf stood straight inside me for the first time in seven years. The radio crackled. The guard looked up. Alpha Rhys says to bring her in, he said. He did not sound surprised. And that was the part that should have reassured me. It did not.

I chirp giving her a wide smile. She doesn't respond, but simply looks away, turning pale. *** Days have passed since my shopping trip with my mother and today I'm spending the night with Miss Ann while mother works. Miss Ann is one of the nice ladies who work with mother. She watches me while mother works and will even tend to us when we are sick. I really like her! "Miss Ann, have you seen this book? It's one that mother got for me when we went out shopping. It's an old book on tactical warfare," I shout excitedly while practically shoving the book in her face.

At the end of the 7th day, if I don’t reach home, I had no idea what will happen at home? . . #TBC
