Stolen Identity: Villainess' Awakening

Stolen Identity: Villainess' Awakening

Someone threatening emerges directly in front of me, and I would have fallen if it weren't for the door behind me. My eyes widen to see a shadow, an unidentified shadow descending on the branch of the tree in opposition to the moonlight's beams as if following the crow's path. “What was that?”

Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

Golden arrows slowly emerged, timidly trying to chase away the shadows of the night. The great fire disc made its appearance. First, it emerged as a red line growing wider and wider until it rose victorious into the angelic blue sky, ready to stretch its arms over the whole earth. It tamed its color slightly, becoming comforting as it shyly soaked up the night frost with which you would think it was soothing its own color.

A cold sweat dribbled down her arched eyebrows on witnessing a shadow standing a feet away with serrated knife, a color of sterling silver that shone even in the thick darkness and the shadow held it. That's all for today! If you enjoyed reading, do let me know in the comments. Adios for now...!

Shadow Bound

Shadow Bound

While Bo has a shining white head free of even a single strand of hair and a short thin (mostly gray) facial hair and smells like golden spice. Gray is standing on the left side of a semicircle made up of him, Cordelia and Bo, with cordelia being in the middle, a few yards just ahead of us. Gray’s holding a long thick metal link chain in his hands, conversing with the two. Iselyn and I stop a few feet away, just close enough to alert them to our presence and hear the conversation.

DARKNESS

DARKNESS

Dark. I enter the shooting room looking for Max, he is at the end of it with the protectors on, with a 9mm in his hands shooting at a target that is about 6 meters away, the shot is good but not perfect, for to be perfect it must hit the target, that is to say the chest or the head, and this has been close to the exact point of the chest, he smiled because although Max is good with weapons, in shots with small arms he is not better than me.

Shadows of the Lost

As a result, both Dark and Z were already catching their breath, though Dark still looked confident. “It appears you can’t beat me.” There was a hint of disappointment in his voice. “Why I’ve thought, Z, that you’ll give me much entertainment? Are you ready to face the consequence of boring the hell out of me?” Z nodded at Kleint who grinned. He wheeled his hands, his heart drumming a little. A purplish light outlined his curves as his shadow stretched out of his body, circling him like some kind of horse welcoming its owner. Kleint patted it on the head, and it stretched all around the dimension. In less than a minute, the shadow

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Shadow Pact

Shadow Pact

The darkness loomed around them like a cloak. Sekhmet carried an old-fashioned torch he pulled from a hole in the wall to light the way. It was a bit theatric and unnecessary, considering vampires and werewolves alike could see in the dark. But it set the mood for torture nicely; causing shadows to dance across the walls. A bleeding.

Shadowbound Flame

“Who.” The air dropped in an instant. Breath froze in their lungs, every candle guttering but never quite dying. The chamber seemed to fold inward, as if the walls themselves bent closer, pressing down on their ribs. Then, with a groan that echoed like bones breaking, the seal cracked. From its heart spilled shadow — but not like theirs. Not crow-black. Not familiar. This shadow was older, heavier, soaked in memory. Its edges gleamed red as if dipped in fire. A feather emerged. Long. Brittle. Stained faintly with blood.

Alora's Windsong

Alora's Windsong

**** Deep beneath the mountain… The shadow slid through stone cracks like smoke. It entered the cavern without a sound, gathering itself on the floor until it rose, shaping into something vaguely humanoid, tall, and wrong, shifting like tar that refused to settle. Two red coals flared in its center. A voice seeped out, distorted and layered. “She hid,” the shadow hissed. “The Sorcerer hid from me.” The cavern rumbled, walls trembling as Shade emerged from the darkness, taller, denser, power radiating from him like heat from an inferno.

Shadowed Crown

Shadowed Crown

"He's nothing but bones now, he can't touch me. However, you, you're the one I need to protect!" …… Jim yanked the bone arrow out of his chest and strode back to the battlefront. Every city camera was live-streaming the chaos, but aside from the wind's constant hum, there was a haunting silence. It was as if the world had hit the pause button. My mom stopped her tears, eyes glued to the screen. She watched as dark clouds swirled with Haunts, their rage shredding every creature in their path. Telephone poles were ripped from the ground, their sparks setting fire to dumpsters.
