I pulled my sword out. Black smoke came out of the wound. Then it closed. The Shadow swung at me again. I. Rolled across the floor. Ares shouted orders. He said we should split into three groups and keep moving. If the Shadow focuses on one target we will lose.

Perhaps that’s why the wolves inside me were behaving like lovesick puppies. It was the second time I ever saw him look so damn confused and that didn’t sit well with me.

Its eyes were as red as blood and its presence gives a chilling and horrifying feel. “The two witch kids...have you heard about the prophecy?” The twins looked at each other being puzzled. “Oh, I see, I would be glad that I will be the one to tell your fate...” The evil of shadows made them confused. “...if one of you succeeds to become the ruler of the separate worlds, it will be the end of everything.” As Falla moved her pace to her brother trying to hide at her twin's back, Talon eventually vanished and was nowhere to be found. The evil of shadows moved closer in her direction. She feels heaviness and high tension as the evil comes closer and closer to her.

Abey looked down at her Grandfather. The Chief wandered close by. “This is a bad omen, you must leave. You are plagued by Shadows, scat, scat.” he hissed at her.

I showed him the messy, inefficient, beautiful reality of a life that chooses to be flawed. The Shadow shrieked—a sound of a billion turning gears suddenly grinding to a halt. His geometric armor began to sprout irregular, organic growths. His white-hole light turned the warm, imperfect color of a sunset. "SYSTEM... ERROR..." he gasped, his form beginning to dissolve into a cloud of real, organic ash. "THE... VARIABLE... IS... TOTAL..." The Shadow exploded, but not into fire. He exploded into a Wave of Texture. The wave swept upward through the roots, through the Spire, and out across the Emerald Sea.
