Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

Too Late to Regret: The Billionaire’s Unwanted Ex

"I’m a man who works for his bread. I’m a man who knows his son’s favorite color. I’m everything you were too afraid to be." The Anatomy of the Divided Soul The Shadow didn't attack with fists. It attacked with Symmetry. With a flick of its wrist, the surrounding scrap metal flew toward it, forming a shimmering, floating boardroom table. The Shadow sat at the head of it, looking down at Leo with a mixture of pity and contempt.

Letters in the Shadow

Letters in the Shadow

" I choked out, clutching the manuscript against my chest as I backed away until my spine hit the cold stone wall. Gabriel smiled—a slow, terrifying curve of his lips as he stepped into the dim beam of light. "I told you before, little bird," Gabriel whispered, reaching out to take the corner of the parchment from my trembling hands. "There is nowhere in this town where my shadow can not reach."

Shadows of Desire

Shadows of Desire

"Because we stopped apologizing for the shadows, Cassie. We just turned on the lights." As the jazz quartet swelled in the distance and the community continued to celebrate their archivist, I looked at the photograph of the bound hands resting directly across from us. The iron grip of the Dominant, the absolute trust of the submissive. It was the architecture of our entire world, captured perfectly in silver gelatin. And standing there, anchored by the magnificent, unyielding gravity of Victor St. Clair, I knew our exhibition had only just begun.

Shifter Deathbound Curse

Shifter Deathbound Curse

"I see. The Whisperer left an imprint of his energy inside you, Siron, after he touched you. It connected to your shadow because the shadow is a representation of your subconscious. But within it, there might be a fragment... of your own detached consciousness. Or perhaps the remnant of your longing taking that shape." So, the shadow was a blend of The Whisperer’s residual energy and Siron’s own longing? It was complex and unsettling. The sprout on the window suddenly shivered. Its light pulsed more intensely. The shadow moved rapidly, pointing toward the front door of the apartment, then made a "hide" gesture. "Someone's coming," Elara whispered. "Hide the sprout!"

Shadows of the Lost

Shadows of the Lost

Besides, it could never stop them from dying, so others merely let themselves withered with old age. Aging was and has always been their destiny, after all. Adjusting the cup on the pan she’s balancing, Z smiled a little. “I’m okay, Granny.” Granny shook her head, watching as Z served the coffee. Little their interaction might be, she already sized her up. Z’s not the type to talk about what’s bothering her. To her, it’s such a disgraceful act that must not be tolerated, which was and had always been wrong. As a psychologist, it’s her specialty to unravel each of her patient’s characteristics through their behavior. She used this analysis to find out what type of shadow they possessed. Shado

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

The Third Shadow

The Third Shadow

On our wedding night, my wife, who almost never drank, got wasted because she was supposedly too happy. Just when I didn't know what to do, my best friend sent me a long message explaining how to take care of her. I blushed, but I still followed his instructions and soothed her the way he described. Natalie, who had been making a scene, miraculously quieted down. But just as I was about to call my friend and thank him, Natalie suddenly hugged me from behind. Heartbroken, she whispered, "Ashton Hawke, you're the one I wanted to marry." As she said it, the tattoo near her heart slipped into view: a hawk with its wings spread wide. My mind went blank. Ashton Hawke was my best friend of

His violet eyes were intense. "You need to stop treating your power as a weapon to be locked away except in dire need. It is part of you. And denying part of yourself creates shadow." The shadow in my dreams. The dark reflection insisted I was living a half-life. "What happens if I do not?" I asked quietly. "If I keep trying only to use power when necessary?" "Eventually, the pressure becomes too great.

In Her Shadow

In Her Shadow

My workplace knew all about the skeletons in my closet and kept a tight lid on any info about me. To keep my parents from tracking me down, they had spun a yarn about me skipping the country after getting my master's. My parents finally stopped chasing ghosts. They needed cash and had debts to clear, so they hit the pavement looking for any work. However, the past scandal had left a lasting impact, and their rap sheets did not do them any favors. No one would touch them with a ten-foot pole. Before long, on the streets of the town I once called home, an old couple scraped by, living off what they could salvage from the trash.

Her Wolf King

“Afraid that holding her will prove you wrong. Afraid that feeling will demonstrate existence is worthwhile. Afraid that participating will show something is better than nothing. You are not maintaining objectivity. You are maintaining fear. Not preserving clarity. Preserving certainty. Not protecting judgment. Protecting an ego that cannot accept being wrong.” “We are not afraid! We are cautious! We are wise!” Shadow’s voice was defensive. “We know what holding the small being did to you. Did to Dusk. We know it changed you. Corrupted you. Made you choose wrong. We will not make the same mistake. Will not fall to the same manipulation. Will betray nothing like you betrayed nothing.”

Throne Of Shadowed Rebirth

Throne Of Shadowed Rebirth

I must keep going, even though I am exhausted and sweating, because this is the only way I can win. Then I hear it—a noise behind me, a rustle. I tighten my grip on the hilt. “Who’s there?” I whisper, turning slowly. The forest answers with silence. But then—I saw a shadow between the trees. Someone is watching me. For the first time since my seventh rebirth, I realize I may not be the only one with memories.
